The room was nice, nothing special about it but it was kind of old-fashioned and cosy. The location is great, so close to the station and we loved having the restaurant downstairs, we ate there every evening as we didn't want to go out in the cold or rain, the food was very nice, as is to be expected in Japan :)
We didn't have much interaction with the hosts, they were professional but not exactly friendly, maybe just our own expectations after many wonderful encounters at previous guesthouses in Japan.

Wonderful couple that run the Pension and the restaurant downstairs. Definitely have dinner there!
It’s also very close to Kinugawa Onsen station and a Lawson.

Beautiful stay with a Lovely experience..very comfortable stay and an exceptional restaurant.
Nothing to dislike .. everything was as it should be...not much more to expect
