Fabulous 2 bedroom apartment, all refurbished, with south view to Praia da Rocha and the source to the River Arade and Marina de Portimão. It is located 2 minutes walk from Praia da Rocha and the Marina. Right next to the Fortaleza de Santa Catarina. With private parking. Equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, oven, air conditioning and wi-fi. Ideal for a holiday where you park your car and do everything on foot.

This place is nice and spacious, with great views, and a lot of natural light. It was walkable to the beach and restaurants.Just know, that you’ll need to run up to the third floor (or take the elevator) to get the keys to open the garage gate on the way in, and allocate time for the same process on the way out. It’s just the way the building is set up. Not a big deal, and we’d highly recommend staying here!

The location of the condo was nice and was walkable to the beach and restaurants but overall unfortunately I can't rate this a 4 or 5 star. There were just too many disappointments with this place. Check in wasn't smooth. The address did not work with the GPS. We were driving in circles looking for the building and only found it by matching it with the picture on the listing. Definitely need some better check in instructions. The condo was clean but very basic. The kitchen was especially disappointing because they didn't provide basic things like paper towels or even dish soap. There were some dishwasher pods but I was shocked to not have dish soap or hand soap at the sink. Like there was nothing to clean with. Also no spices etc and ice cube trays that were the size of a dorm refrigerator. It just felt unwelcoming to not have basic kitchen supplies. The double bed in the main bedroom was sagging and falling apart. It was like sleeping on an old sofa bed. Just bare minimum for everything. It wasn't horrible but definitely wouldn't recommend as I am sure there are plenty of better places to stay. I usually don't leave negative reviews but I feel like I need to be honest.
