Situated in South Padre Island, this attractive condo for $536 per night is a great option for your next trip. NOTE: The Sapphire pool has been renovated (March. 2022). We’ve always taken pride in our clean and fresh homes, and we know this is more important than ever. In an abundance of caution, on top of our already rigorous cleaning procedures, our housekeepers have been given an even more robust disinfecting checklist, noting increased attention to heavily trafficked areas and frequently touched surfaces. We are paying an extra fee to add this service which we are not passing on to you. As always, ALL LINENS that touch you are freshly laundered every stay. We have increased cleaning supply orders utilizing CDC-recommended disinfectants. In addition, we have increased the accessibility of hand sanitizers for you and our employees to protect the safety of the community and the building has implemented social distancing standards. Gorgeous designer decorated beachfront Sapphire Luxury Condo rental with magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico. Condo 1708 is your perfect luxury vacation getaway. Being on the 17th floor, the condo provides amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico, low enough to hear the ocean waves but high enough above the neighboring buildings to have miles of unobstructed view of the beautiful island beach both north and south as well as great Bay views of the fireworks shows and sunsets and Space X. This condo is privately owned and immaculately maintained. With its 10 and 12 foot ceilings throughout, you have expansive views from the master bedroom and from the living room windows. There are two private patios one faces east towards the gulf and one faces west towards the bay so you can enjoy both the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Beach view patio has seating for 4 with table. In the Gulf view patio there is an electric grill and seating for 2 with a table--and perfectly situated to watch the rockets take off from Space X. This condo is fully furnished to provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each bedroom and the living room have their own smart-TV or TV with FireStick (no cable). Each bedroom has its own ceiling fan and very comfortable mattresses. The master bedroom has king bed with luxurious mattress, 12 foot ceilings and an oversized (10 foot tall) window with a picturesque view of the beach, blackout window treatments, large dresser, accent chair, and large walk-in closet. We provide you with beach/sand toys, beach towels, SPF 50 umbrella, back pack beach chairs, boogie boards and even a wagon to carry it all down the beach. Other items provided are an iron and iron board, board games, book library and high speed Wifi. A washer and dryer are available in the unit in a utility closet and we provide a basic set of laundry detergent and dryer sheets. We also provide paper goods such as napkins, paper towels and toilet paper. Basic toiletries for each bathroom as well as basic spices for the kitchen. We have new non-stick pots and pans (so please use our plastic cooking utensils and nothing metal on them), frittata pan and even an air fryer! We own and manage several waterfront properties in Texas and know exactly what our guests need in order to have a carefree and wonderful stay. You will not get thin and old towels and sheets. We only have luxurious linens for your vacation and we change them out after every season this includes: bath towels, hand towels, face towels and beach towels (enough for 8). The Concierge is a phone call away if you need extra linens. Condo property includes a Texas size whirlpool that sits next to two crystal clear swimming pools that together reach out 300 feet towards the beach – perfect for play or lap swimming. A state of the art fitness center with Cybex equipment, a Movie Theater (seating for 24), a Game room / Teen room equipped with pool table, shuffleboard, foosball, pin ball machines and computers, complimentary WIFI, and a 24 hour Front Desk. It is also one of the few properties in South Texas with 4 Tesla chargers and 1 EV charger conveniently located in a premiere spot in the covered parking garage. Rejuvenate and pamper yourself in the full service Spa on the first floor--if you need recommendation for a masseuse or manicurist/pedicurist text me! Right next door is Schlitterbahnn Waterpark for you and your family to enjoy. Relax at the pool side cabanas and enjoy plenty of pool chaises/chairs--they are on a first come first serve basis so you will need to wake up early for the Cabanas and chairs in the heavy summer season. There is an entrance to the beach through a secure gate, and showers to rinse off all the sand before coming back in. Next door, as part of The Pearl Resort, you will have access to another amazing pool with a swim-up bar as well as a very kid-friendly pool. On premise restaurant is available in case you don't want to venture out of the area. We have been managing waterfront properties all over Texas for the past 7 years all with 5 Star Reviews. I am taking a big risk by telling the truth about this VRBO. My outstanding review could result in my difficulty finding it available for me in the future. Yes, I would definitely stay there again. I have returned to SPI for many vacations, staying in homes, gulf side, bay side, you name it. My experiences vary. This rental property was outstanding. The owner provided everything you could possibly need from kids beach toys, beach towels, beach wagon and other accessories to top quality pots and pans, dishes, etc. I stayed for a month and it was like home. With past experiences, I had brought my own pots and pans, utensils, towels, small appliances, etc. None of mine were needed! From a Keurig to a Mr. Coffee, to electric skillets and slow cooker -- so unexpected! The view was fantastic, fireworks from the balcony, property service people were so kind, local amenities within walking distance, beach access was easy and the pools are beautiful. I felt safe by myself or when family arrived and children wanted to play in the central Game Room or reserve a movie in the private theatre. I had other family members who rented two other units and this one was -- by far -- THE BEST. (P.S.: I did accidentally drop the Mr. Coffee karafe on the very first day, and ordered a replacement for delivery from Amazon. No problem!) Hope to stay here again, and again (providing my review doesn't fill up their calendar)!!

Property is nice but we had ac problems the first night and it was very hot.
Property is very safe but I don’t agree with them not allowing any guest. We came to celebrate our daughters bday and found out we couldn’t have my in-laws to visit. Front desk employees were not so friendly and securities kept asking my girls and eyeing us constantly looking for property bracelets.

This was the most beautiful condo we have ever stayed at in South Padre Island. It has everything you could possibly need and the resort is great. We loved having the restaurant and bar right next door. The smart TV’s were great! Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with our family :)

This condo was perfect!! The view was beautiful, as well as its in a perfect location. It's literally right over the bridge so you can avoid the traffic going north on the island. The rooms were very good size and each had their own tv which was nice, as well as the beds we're comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and had everything you could need. A huge bonus was that the owners leave beach towels, 3 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, skim boards, toys for the kids, and a wagon to haul it all to the beach; which was a super nice addition, so we didn't have to purchase these items for one time use. The condos do offer umbrellas with 2 chairs to rent which is also a good option. I'm not sure of the cost as we didn't use them but the option is there. The pool is refreshing after your time on the beach. If you want some great fresh homemade food go to Mahi Nic. It was the best food we had while we were in SPI and super close to the condo. The owners are super nice, service was great and shrimp/Mahi tacos were the absolute best! Overall you can't go wrong with renting this condo, it's a great choice.

We have stayed in several condos this property and this one is the best so far. Well stocked with just about anything you need for cooking or the beach. Great views, super easy access to beach, awesome pool. Owner was quick and easy to communicate with. Able to easily rent palapas during our stay. Parking was close and very easy to access. IMHO this is the best property on the Texas coast and would highly recommend. Another great stay in this condo building.

The property and a menu are second to none. The condo we stayed in had an awesome view of the beach and all furnishings where comfortable. They had a beach wagon and umbrella and chairs which was nice. A/c was cold and communication was great. Can’t ask for much more.

Fun in the Sun
Maelia has really furnished her condo with all you would need. She has all kinds of beach equipment you might need. Unfortunately the beach chairs were broken but you can rent them right outside the gate. I thought the linens in the bedrooms were lackluster, but that is a very small thing, and only my personal opinion. All in all, it was a great place to spend a week in the sun. We would definitely come again.h

Beautiful condo
As soon as we pulled up to the Sapphire, we were impressed. It is right on the beach, 31 stories high and the pool is beautiful. The condo was super clean and very well stocked. We had an issue with the air conditioning and the owner responded immediately and had it fixed right away. The location is very convenient to stores and restaurants. Our two 18 year old kids had a wonderful time . They booked a surfing lesson and loved it. We went on a sailboat and had dinner on the beach. We stayed four nights and had a great time!

I own a cleaning company so I have an eye for the true clean vs half-butt clean. This one was excellent! Our family of 5 fit perfectly. The beds are comfy. There wasn’t a single thing that wasn’t provided. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathrooms had clean towels and even some essentials like shampoo! The front desk was very helpful. We loved our stay!!! I could go on and on…..

We had a beautiful and peaceful time! Everything we needed and more was there, super easy check in and out. But what made this stay so special, was the extraordinary customer service from the owner! We will definitely be returning!!

The price was a little higher than other condos so I thought we were getting better quality. When we checked in there was confusion because there were contractors inside the condo working on the balcony but the front desk let us check in and go up. The manager quickly explained that they thought we were checking in a day later. They quickly left and a cleaning crew came in. We appreciated the quick actions but the balcony door was extremely hard to open and even harder to close. You had to put your whole body into it. The condo was clean but the white couches had brown stains all over it. On the cushions and on the back of the couch. I understand it’s a rental but the couch should be replaced. The pictures didn’t represent the actual condition of the furniture. We didn’t even sit on the couch. If I was the owner, I would want to know.
