The tranquillity of the villa and the wonderful views from the terrace and pool. The villa itself was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and had a modern, smart interior while retaining some charm and individuality. The traditional stone walls and air conditioning kept it cool. The pool, terrace and balcony with various tables, chairs and loungers offering both sun and shade and with attractive flowering plants and shrubs offered a welcoming space throughout the day and evening. For some of our stay we had another family staying in the villa next-door but the villa still felt secluded and private, hopefully for them as well. We appreciated the thoughtful additional items available such as beach parasols and a cool box which came in handy. The hosts were really kind and helpful with information before and during our stay. All in all, we'd thoroughly recommend staying here. Also the nearby small harbour town of Sivota was bustling and great for restaurants and food shops.
We did read some other reviewers' comments about the drive up to the villa, it is steep and certainly on the first drive up it seemed a bit of a challenge but subsequently it was fine. Do hire a car with this in mind but please don't let it put you off, the reward is the beautiful views from the villa looking across and down to Sivota.

The property itself was fantastic, very spacious and had everything you might need for your stay. The pool was clean with a spectacular view. I loved all the outside seating areas, so many to choose from when you fancied a change. Lovely having a BBQ area which we used several times. As a couple we only used one bedroom but loved having his and hers bathrooms, it made getting ready much nicer. Felt so at home and would consider renting it again for longer and working from here too. A great base to tour the island from.
Just the drive up to the property. The video sent in double speed doesn’t really show the real condition of the roads but we accept that it is the same across much of the island. It meant that it was almost impossible to walk up in the heat so we drove up and down and sometimes chose to stay in and cook instead of driving. It looks like more properties are being built or developed on that hill so hopefully there might be some investment in improving the road quality.

The villa is luxurious and well-appointed, featuring a wonderful swimming pool and truly breathtaking views. It is sufficiently secluded from neighboring properties, creating a sense of a high-end private retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the villa is clean and well maintained.
Many thanks to Stacy for her patience in answering all of my questions and for providing accurate and helpful recommendations. Special thanks also to Edi, who responded quickly to every request and resolved the occasional electrical issue that occurred during our stay, almost without any disruption to our vacation.
The villa truly enhanced our vacation experience, offering peace, privacy, and stunning views that made our stay unforgettable. Following Stacy’s recommendation, we dined at a nearby traditional restaurant, Sto Roloi Grill House, which was simple, authentic, and incredibly delicious, perhaps one of the best meals we had during our trip.
Getting to the property can be a bit challenging due to the drive, but the villa and the spectacular views make it well worth the effort. As a suggestion for improvement, I would recommend adding a glass shower door to prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor, and ensuring that the showerhead is regularly descaled to avoid limescale buildup.
