The owner Isaac and receptionist Veronica were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the solar shower worked well. It’s a short walk to the main plaza. It is very quiet at night so you can get a good night’s rest. There is a kitchen to prepare meals and it was kept clean.
They are adding more rooms and kitchen space on the top floor so there is construction going on but the work does not start very early and ends before dinner hour.

The owner Isaac and the receptionist Beronica are super kind people who are always happy to help you. The both have a big heart.
Isaac and I often played board games together and he even lend me his guitar to play with.
I loved that the hostel is super quiet and has an outside space to relax.
I didn't do the tours, but other travelers told me that the tours are cheaper there than in other places.
They organize everything for you, you just have to tell them where you want to go. Also if you want to do it without a tour they'll tell you how to get to the waterfalls and the other places to visit!
This place needs more people! But also I've been there in September which tend to be a month with less travelers.

The location was great, the owner lent us some face protector for Kuelap which was nice, the room was big. In the kitchen there was a good amount of ustensiles to use.
The bathroom/toilet was extremely dirty. And it was every day missing toilet paper. I know it's shared bathroom and guest have to behave but when you share only one bathroom for many people, the hostel staff should clean more often, it was really disgusting. Same for the kitchen. Also the walls were paper and on Saturday people came back at 2am and made noise by talking loudly until 4am, even when I asked them to be more quiet as we had a tour at 7am. There was a lot of light in the room due to the curtains and it was cold.
