The house and views are beautiful and facilities well set up and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. There is little insulation between floors so everyone can hear everything. We enjoyed the house while we were there. You better have everything you need before arriving in daylight because you will not want to go up and down that driveway, and may not be able to.. we were able to Doordash some pizza and groceries and tipped extra because of the drive there.
But you will need that hot tub and sauna to relax after getting up that driveway. 4wd is required year round. That is not a driveway to get up without it. It bottomed out transmissions and we read the guest book of similar issues- people using up thousands of miles of tire tread, transmissions of rental cars burning, and not having enough tire tread so sliding when coming down. Those are serious safety concerns that are not openly stated, I can confirm because I went back and re-read everything after our arrival with another adult. Then we had rain which made it worse. We would have selected another location if this had been disclosed. We have one car that we are not sure will make it back home now. We were sliding down the driveway trying to leave. Several people could not walk it. I appreciate that it is fully paved but it's way too sharp an incline to walk for most.
