Our long weekend was great. Rental was clean, easily accessible to everything. We loved that they had a sercuity man on the beach telling people move off our part of the beach in front of the condo. That’s was priceless. The kids loved the pool and hot tube. Fantastic water pressure in the showers. Hands down awesome place to stay. Loved the putt putt right in front of the condo as well.

We decided to stay 4 extra nights and the Platinum Realty staff was very accommodating and reasonable. The unit was very clean and welcoming. It was all one could ask for.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property and beach were well kept. The condo was clean (decor was outdated but that did not impact our stay) and there was plenty of room for 7 of us—adults and teens. We found plenty of dishes and pots/pans to make our meals and used the grill near the pool. There were no extras like seasonings, coffee filters, beach chairs/toys, trash bags etc.
The views from the balconies are beautiful. We had a great time!

Really enjoyed the stay at this unit. The private beach and recently remodeled pool and outdoor grilling areas are really a big plus. Management communication and responsiveness was also very good.
Only complaint is with the unit condition. The layout of the unit is fine. However, the entire unit is in dire need of renovation throughout as everything is quite dated and worn and not furnished appropriately (example, no dresser of even stands for suitcases of any kind in master suite). Many small issues that appear to have band-aid fixes instead or true repairs. If the owners invested in some serious renovations and updates this unit has great potential.

When renting a vacation property, double check that all the facilities shown will be available to you. We were surprised to learn that the pool shown didn't exist and a new one was under construction. A sub-par pool was provided in another building which we considered a huge inconvenience to our party of senior citizens. We were very disappointed that we were not given the info about the pool when we rented the property as the pool was very important to us. The bedroom carpeting was filthy and needs to be replaced. The curtains in the bedroom were falling off the wall. The whole condo needs painted and the ceiling damage needs to be addressed. Our maintenance requests were ignored.

We were in Destin for R&R and this condo in Sandestin did not disappoint us. We sat on the west bedroom balcony to have our coffee each morning and then moved to the east den balcony the rest of the day. The owners had the condo stocked with essential paper products for us and enough towels for an army. It is a very nice condo with great views. We would stay here again.

Great location. Beautiful views. Platinum Vacations did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, we had to switch to this condo last minute due to a problem with the unit we rented originally. The condo was a bit run down/dated, needs some TLC, some holes in the walls, ice maker broken, water filter needs changed, showers leak and the pool was under construction but none of the issues prevented us from having a great vacation. Would definitely work with Platinum again.

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is a terrific place. Beachside 1 access is terrific. This condo has 2 high speed elevators that service this 10th floor unit very quickly. The condo is appointed very well and there is a kids rack room that could sleep 4-6 pretty easily. Overall this is a great location and we had a terrific Thanksgiving stay with 75-80 degree beach weather to top it off..

Don’t be discouraged by some of the negative reviews. This Condo is on the beach with amazing views!!! Yes there might be chipped paint here or there and they could definitely use a new set of pots and pans but NOTHING that would ruin your vacay!! Very close to the elevator that opens to a direct shot of the beach walkway on the 2nd floor or the pool on the 1st floor. You will not be disappointed. Who stays in the condo while you’re at the beach anyway? We had 8 guest and plenty of space and privacy. We would definitely come back again.
