Located in Maggie Valley, this attractive cabin for $125 per night is a great choice for your next trip. You will not have to leave your furry friend behind because this cottage is pet friendly (25 lbs max limit). Also has a ramp for easy access and covered porches on 2 sides to enjoy the mountain air. The gas log stone fireplace makes for a romantic evening or relax on the porch taking in the fresh mountain air or in the backyard at the patio table enjoying a picnic. The cottage also has heat and air conditioning to ensure you are always comfortable. You'll find the park style charcoal grill convenient for grilling or the fire pit is the perfect place to make s'mores and enjoy the soothing sounds of the local waterfalls. Relax indoors watching the large screen smart television with cable TV. Wifi also available, a full kitchen to enjoy a home cooked meal, and a washer and dryer to offer all the amenities of home. Conveniently located to all area attractions and paved road access all the way to the front door. My family and I enjoyed our stay that we stayed a total of 10 days. The cabin was perfect. We are actually currently looking for a cabin to rent for extended stay. The cabin had beautiful views. The cabin was clean and felt like home. Everything we needed was provided. We are looking forward to living in the mountains and staying at the Eagle’s Nest.

I can’t say enough about this cabin. We were there to celebrate our 53rd anniversary and the cabin was perfect. We had absolutely everything we needed……cleaning supplies, paper towels, linens, dishes, toilet paper, plenty of hot water and even cooking spices…..who does that!!!???
The views were amazing and did I mention it was one of the cleanest cabins we have ever stayed in and after 53 years of marriage that’s a lot!!!

This cabin was truly perfect for me, my daughter and her dog. We were able to find everything we needed to use and the cabin was very comfortable as the temperatures dropped to 20° for the first time this year. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

The house was extremely musty and humid!! Our clothes were damp in the closet and it affected my vitamins. Driveway was terribly steep with a very sharp, blind corner at the bottom or top depending on which way we were going. Ran out of toilet paper the 2nd day, had to go buy some. The house needs a dehumidifier!!

Very fully stocked kitchen...any appliance you could need....Fantastic porch on this cottage, it was our favorite feature! Has a ramp to the house from the driveway for accessibility which was great for our balance impaired son!

This unit needs a good deep cleaning.
The kitchen oven, toaster oven and toaster were so dirty we would not use them. All the furniture and throws were full of dog hair, and I could not stop itching.

The property is in dire need of some updating. There is no dishwasher and many of the dishes in the cabinet were not clean. We ended up washing everything before using them. The fireplace didn't work and it took three days before it was fixed. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets were very old and yellowed. We would not stay here again.

The view from the porch was very nice, the place was small and lacked that cabin feel but was adequate. The driveway is very steep and not lit at night be careful. The driveway was covered in leaves but when I called someone did come to blow them out. My main issue was the kitchen bench broke apart when my friend went to sit on it resulting in a broken toe and bruised hip. I emailed the agency and got no response, not even an apology.

It was a very pleasant getaway. Being a little off season, and with Covid restrictions, there were fewer things to do away from the cabin. The diminished number of attractions could be a negative to some, but it worked well for us. We were fortunate enough to get the proper amount of snow the first night. Enough to create a very picturesque setting but not treacherous for travel. The roads and driveway with snow and ice would not be for the ill equipped. The Eagles Nest is on our do it again list. Will probably try it a bit earlier when the town is not shut down as much. The Government lockdown orders probably had more to do with that than the people or the season. Maggie Valley is a place we have been before. It and the Eagles Nest will be a place we'll go to again.

The location, and views were nice. Steep roads and driveway but it’s not uncommon in the mountains, but i had no issue getting in and out. Overall the place was great. We used the fire pit and charcoal grill everyday, relaxed on the amazing porch in the mornings. I had a great and relaxing time. I would only suggest people bring their own bathing towels with them, other then that i have no complaints.

The driveway and yard are pretty steep (which is mentioned in the listing) but the view from the wraparound porch was lovely. I took my puppy and had a little difficulty walking her in the yard on the side of the house due to the incline but there is a small area behind where we parked and a fire pit area that is more flat so she could run her zoomies out back there safely. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed.

The view is amazing! The outdoor space is great, too, as long as it's not too windy. The inside is very well done...good layout, nicely decorated, very comfortable. We did have a maintenance issue, but it was resolved. The road up the mountain gets quite steep, and the driveway is even more steep but short. There is room for 2 normal-sized cars (a sedan and an SUV) at the top of the driveway where it is flat. The area is very quiet and peaceful.
