Quaint and cozy mountain house in perfect proximity to downtown Saluda. Everything you need for a relaxing visit is all there, just light the fire! Lovely screen porch and back deck, plus a friendly neighbor with cat. Well appointed furnishings that were welcoming and comfortable! We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Thanks for your hospitality in sharing your home.

Lovely, cosy home with a great screened in porch. The neighborhood was peaceful and it was a nice walk to Main Street. We loved exploring the area: Saluda, Tryon, and Pearson Falls.

We had a good experience! The house was tidy and it was easy to find what we needed. We had good communication beforehand and the check in was straightforward but the house was a little hard to find when we arrived in the dark. We appreciated the tucked away seclusion though! A problem with the microwave was addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. Property is easy walking distance to everything in historic downtown Saluda.

We have stayed here a number of times and it is our favorite Saluda cottage! Eva is a wonderful host with a charming cottage. Normally we visit in warmer weather and can enjoy the porches. This visit we enjoyed the fireplace! We love it and will continue to return!

Very nice house in quiet location. Walking distance to downtown Saluda. Nice to be able to walk to dinner and the sunset was gorgeous from the screened in porch. It was too cold to sit on the the porch but I bet it’s lovely when the temperature cooperates. Kitchen was fully stocked and bedrooms were comfortable. We drove to hike but there are several in area that are close to Saluda. Saw a couple of bugs in the house but this area is considered ‘the south’ and bugs are pretty common. The owner was really great to work with and very responsive. Overall a great and relaxing stay. Thank you!

We had a great time at the property. Like others have mentioned, most everything you could need is within a short walk of the house including some great restaurants. There are great hikes within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Overall, it was a great stay.

This house has a warm cozy feel and lovely decorated. However I have stayed at several VRBO houses, and this one lacks on the cleaning side. The issues range from dirty floors to dirty cabinets inside and out. I spoke with the owner and hope she will take corrective actions.

Great location to town. Nice size 3 bedroom home. Older comfortable home with beautiful wood floors and nice remodeling of kitchen and bathrooms. We had an issue with toilet running in master bedroom and called owner so she immediately called plumber to come out and fix the problem. Great communication and response with owner.

What a beautiful home tucked away in the greenery and historic area of Saluda! Peaceful setting with things to see and do within walking distance, and a short drive from more attractions in chimney rock and Asheville. The home has comfortable beds, plenty of well stocked linens and kitchen items, and two lovely porches with comfortable seating. Peaceful and welcoming! We’ll likely be back!
