Great villa with a history! Host was really great and friendly and told us a little about this house and their surroundings. The place overall is very spacious and cozy. A lot of beautiful details inside the house.
It would have been nice if some of the instructions in the house had also been available in English, not just Italian, but it wasn't really an issue.

Large and spacious. Quirky decor and furniture. Large garden area.
Pool was more of a plunge pool and difficult to get in/out if you have certain disabilities or not fit/slim. No toaster or kettle but we got by.
MUST have a car or transport as isolated.

Peaceful location with pleasant well kept gardens & outside space
Ability to check in late - our flight was late arriving
Eclectic & varied artefacts across the house
The agent who met us was pleasant & efficient
Layout of the house not as expected, the 'larger double bedroom' in the pictures is also a communal living area & main route out to the back of the house & garden. There are in fact 2 separate bedrooms.
The pool is not big enough to swim in, it is a dipping pool at the best, furthermore it was unusable, due to a large collection of bees. As a result it was not prepared for use, until the last day of our trip. We should have been informed of this in advance, instead of establishing this on arrival.
The bathroom in the house is spacious, the additional bathroom is external to the house & is extremely small. Some may find it very difficult to use.
