Located in Glacier, this attractive cabin for $298 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE BOOKING: ** Reserving guests must be a minimum of 23 years of age and require the endorsement of our Guest Rental Agreement before dispensing house keys. ID is required at check-in. Mt. Baker Rim - Cabin #70 - A 2-story, 2-bedroom + Loft, Pet-Friendly Riverside Family Vacation Home With a Hot Tub, Wi-Fi, and A/C! Enjoy exquisite river and mountain views from this 2-story, 2+ bedroom, 3-bath riverfront family vacation home! The 1st floor features a mud/entry room, a 3/4-bath, an open kitchen/dining/living area with a dishwasher, a freestanding wood stove (firewood provided), a newly installed ductless air conditioner, a full-size hide-a-bed, and a separate sitting area with fabulous views. The 1st floor also includes one bedroom with 1-king-sized bed and its en suite 3/4-bath, plus a separate laundry area with a full-size washer/dryer. The 2nd floor features a loft area with 1-queen-sized bed, a 3/4-bath, and a primary bedroom with 1-king-sized bed and a walk-out balcony. Outside the back door is a covered deck with a gas grill and a private outdoor HOT TUB! This delightful pet-friendly (2 Pet Maximum No Exceptions), wifi equipped, and monitored family vacation home also includes an electric car charger - 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet (Tesla Model 3, etc.) and will sleep 6 to 8-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). PLEASE NOTE: Although a perimeter fence is provided, the high bank riverfront location may not be suitable for small children. Hot Tub / Pets OK / Wi-Fi / EV Charger / A/C / NO Smoking The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, nature viewing, tennis, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round! OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES: **Wi-Fi service is now available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. The service is currently subject to failure. Intermittent service failures are a circumstance that is beyond our control. No refunds are provided if the FREE Wi-Fi SERVICE fails to function correctly. **This cabin is a monitored family vacation home, not a party house. In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee's actions. The house is set in beautiful countryside, quite magical in the snow but there was a power cut apparently this is a common occurrence. We did have firewood but left early as we had no idea when the power would return.
This house has showers but no bath, there is a hot tub. There are plenty of DVD to watch as no cable, which is not a problem for us.

This property was amazing! Truly loved the location in the Mt. Baker community. Having the backyard face the river was incredible for both viewing purposes and privacy. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed.

This is a very nice cabin in the woods close to lots of nature and views. Lots of room for several people. FYI the 3rd bedroom with the Queen bed does not have a door, so it's open to the rest of the house.

This was a great place to stay for our ski rental! We had such a nice time and there was plenty of space. The home was clean and had all the amenities needed for us to enjoy our ski trip.

Great family getaway!
We had an amazing trip. The house was beautiful and well equipped with so many amenities! Their collection of board games, CDs, DVDs, laser discs, and board games were amazing. I have stayed at many rental homes and they have never been so well stocked!
The kitchen had everything you needed to cook to your hearts desire. The location was perfect for any outdoor activities available in the area. I highly recommend this rental.

The cabin was really spacious and beautiful. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend getaway. There were five in our group and everyone enjoyed their time here. The hot tub was especially nice after a day of hiking.

Winter break in Glacier
The property is great, with beautiful views out over the river. It was very easy to sleep four adults and two children, and there was plenty of space for in-cabin activities (the large dining room table is great for a puzzle).
The property is near the end of a road, so there wasn't much traffic and it was very quiet. Mt. Baker is only 30 minutes away, which was quite nice! It was very easy to get up there for skiing and snowshoeing, and I would imagine it will be even easier in the summer.
Overall, the property was fantastic and I'd definitely stay here again!

Happy Thanksgiving to us!
We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving weekend. The property was very clean and cozy. One of the nicest rentals we've stayed in (and we've done VRBO for the past 12 Thanksgivings). The beds were all very comfortable, and the DVD selection was great. We enjoyed watching the Sound of Music and working on a jigsaw puzzle while cooking and chatting by the wood stove. Loved the foot path down to the riverbed too!

Great quiet place to stay during the 4th of July.
Location is on a quite cul-de-sac and the community itself is very quiet even on a busy July 4th. This is our 2nd stay at the house and love it.

Quiet getaway with beautiful scenery to explore right outside the door
Great space for a group to relax in the woods. Our spring skiing trip was truly a wonderful time, close to the mountain (30 min drive) and with lots to do at the cabin like hot tubing and games. Looking forward to our next visit. Bring salt and pepper!

Don’t stay here unless you are prepared to bring everything you could possibly need to eat.
We had several families stay in other homes and they all had lots of condiments that made there stays easy.
Bring everything or eat out that’s your options in this house.
The house was fine in most other ways.

The only thing that I can think to mention that confused us was the Baker rental management documents showed a key code that was supposed to allow others to enter the Baker Rim's gate, but it didn't seem to work for a local friend of ours.

House wasn't prepared for a power outage
While we made the most of it the house was lacking some basic necessities for a cabin in a fairly remote area. The power went out late Friday and didn't come back on until Sunday morning. While there was supposed to be firewood provided, there wasn't, which meant we had no heat. There was no working flashlight or candles which meant we were basically stuck in the dark. The prolonged outage also meant we didn't get to use the amenities we paid for (ie. hot tub)and meant that most of our food spoiled. While we realize the power outage isn't the responsibility of the home, the basics needed to sustain oneself during an outage should be. Very disappointed.
