My family and I enjoyed every detail of this house. From sitting in the front enjoying the garden or out back in the hot tub. Comfy beds, plenty of space and every single thing you think you could need. Well, it’s provided.
Within a day it went from being “the house” to “home”.
Walking distance to everything and if you are coming to Venice be prepared to walk. It’s so worth it.
We came from the cold Midwest so I spent every moment in the sun that I could. Laying in the yard under the most perfect tree while my family talked and laughed.
Grab the beach chairs and watch the sail boats go by and the surfers catch the waves.
Our family will definitely be coming back every time we visit. Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful home.

We loved our stay at this Venice Beach House. It's location is wonderful (very short walk to the sand), the house is loaded with charm (antiques galore), and the host is so responsive and accommodating (thanks, Tina!). In fact, I tried to lock it in for our next trip to the area in May 2024, but it was already booked (darn!). We will definitely be back, if we can line it up again. Cheers.

This is an amazing property. It has so many amenities. The hot tub is really the ticket after a good long walk on the beach and up and down the boardwalk. The kitchen was nicely appointed and provided everything we needed to prep Thanksgiving dinner. Tina is very communicative and the tenant next door is very kind. We just loved everything about this property and I hope to return for a girl’s reunion! It’s perfect for families, too. We were so thankful to have a beautiful home for our family gathering.

Very charming house with a great location for exploring Venice Beach. The house is also well stocked with those little things you do not want to have to rush off to buy, like coffee filters, salt, spices, condiments and papers. Much appreciated.
Easy check-in and out, combined with good communications make for a great stay.

This is really such an amazing little find. The house is spacious. Location is fantastic being a 1 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to the canals, etc. She also provided games, kitchen supplies, etc. And the hot tub was the icing on the cake! The only thing we wished could have been different were the thin walls. Granted, this is a 100 year old home, so that comes with the territory, but you could hear nearly everything in the bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. upstairs. Just something worth noting in case you are a light sleeper. We would 100% stay again though. It was lovely!

The Walter House was a perfect place for our group of friends to enjoy a get away weekend to Venice Beach and LA. Quaint house with interesting history and great location… 1 block to beach walk on South Beach area. 2 mike walk to Santa Monica Pier, but done leisurely and enjoying the vibe that is Venice Beach! Easy walk to Venice Canals and Abbot Kinney area. Parking a bit snug for a minivan, but can do. Third bedroom suitable for adult/child as twin bed and trundle, share bath with second bedroom. Main bedroom has en-suite bath. Additional accessible bathroom off kitchen. We made everything work and enjoyed our stay!!! Thank you for sharing your home!!!

We had a great stay at this lovely Venice Beach House! We were there for a concert weekend and it was perfect for getting to Sofi easily and hanging out at the beach cities in between. Tina was very responsive and all went smoothly!

A cozy lovely beach house on a great location! So close to the beach and 5min walk to the Skatepark. Beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards provided were great for us coming from oversees. We had no issues with homeless people, Venice beach is great!

Just being in this house is a vacation for us. The place itself is lovely. The whimsical direactions amplify that beauty. Then there's the location, three houes from the beach. And the hottub. This was our second year, and seems likely there will be a third.

The house was exactly as described. Just a short walk onto the Venice Beach Boardwalk, Abbott Kinney, and Venice Canales. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking. The tenant staying beside the house was such a beautiful person, she was so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The home’s location is perfect! Steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but used the coffee maker, fridge and glassware (plenty of glassware). Loved the Jack and Jill bathrooms upstairs. FYI steps upstairs are narrow. Master bedroom is large and lots of counter space in the master bathroom. Lots of towels extra bedding available.

The house was clean and very comfortable for all of us (four adults). We would stay here again. The hot tub was a nice perk. Beds were comfortable. Communication with owner was great. Tight lot, so don’t drive a big vehicle.

What a brilliant find! - this lovely home is located meters from the beach, and super close to the Venice Canals and Abbot Kinney - Its kitchen is well fitted, and has an outdoor BBQ area too - we found going out for meals as a family in LA incrediably expensive - so to be able to stock up at Whole foods and Trader Joes and cook for everyone here was terrific.
Also you may have been alerted to Venice being a bit of a dodgy area - but this location, despite its proximity to the beach, was quiet and safe
Would rebook here in a heartbeat should we be lucky enough to return to Los Angeles - thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Wonderful property steps from the beach! Great location near Muscle Beach and Venice Canals. We spent our spring break here; family with adult kids and grandma. We all enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub was great! If we come back to Venice, we will definitely stay here again!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever used! The kitchen was very well stocked and had plenty of utensils, glasses and cooking equipment. You are literally a 2 minute walk to the promenade along the beach. The owners had fantastic communication. I can’t stress enough how much you’ll enjoy this house!

The home was meticulously clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Nicely remodeled kitchen and baths. Plenty of space for the three couples who stayed. Loaded with charm and character and beautiful artwork. Enjoyed the hot tub! Just a few steps from the famous Venice boardwalk and beach. Short walk to the canals and Abbott Kinney. The parking spots are a big plus in this area. Looking forward to our next stay!

This was an amazing place to relax for a few days on a girls' trip. We loved meandering over to see the canals and the beach. The food nearby was tasty and easy to access. We didn't need to get in a car ever. The house was clean, everything worked, and it was an incredibly straight forward rental. Thank you so much! If we are in the area, we will rent here again.

This is a marvelous place to stay. It's close to everything, but it's quiet and comfortable inside. They have everything you need in a beautiful, homey, relaxing spot. It was perfect for our get-away. Wish we could go right back and stay again next week!

This was our second stay at the Walter House and we'd love to come back in the future. Exactly as pictured and wonderfully close to the beach. The hot tub is a delight after January sunsets and the house was stocked with everything we could ask for. We enjoyed the addition of the new, comfy couch.

We had a great stay here, the house is very comfortable with everything you need and just as per the listing. We were a family of 6. The location is great & it is so good to have parking in Venice. The carport on the west of the garage is slightly bigger than the one on the right if you have a gigantic car as we did. The communication with the host was wonderful and they were very helpful accommodating our needs, thank you :-)

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing you family home with us. The well stocked kitchen was a huge plus. We added some olive oil and maple syrup to the pantry. We took advantage of the all of the amenities especially since the weather was gray and rainy most days! Still a fun adventure!

The house was very charming and allowed us to host 13 people for a full Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed playing games in the living room. The location was close to restaurants and the beach. The jacuzzi blew a hose but it was repaired the next day! Unfortunately it rained on us each day. Will have to come again. Thanks for providing everything including the umbrella!

If I could have a beach house, this is the one I'd want. You can see and hear the ocean from the master bedroom. I particularly liked the pedestrian-only street in the front of the house. If I had one word to describe the property, I would say "charming."
