1. It is strategically location, in which I can walk to the eateries around it.
2. The staff there were kind and helpful.
3. The room was overall simplistic, beds were comfy and the room is air-conditioned.
1. I have high standards for overall hygiene, so increasing the cleaning frequency of the bathrooms and toilets - especially during peak hours - would greatly enhance the guest experience.
2. The building shows its age as an older hostel. Simple touch-ups or refreshed maintenance in key areas could help brighten up the space while preserving its character.
3. The common area has great potential. Adding small touches like complimentary tea/coffee sachets, light snacks, or a book exchange would make it feel much more welcoming, especially for international budget travelers looking to connect.

Great location, next to restaurant , shops, transport and the riverfront.
Nice simple room with a/c, quiet, friendly staff.
Also, filtered water is available in the kitchen area
The cleanliness of the kitchen facilities and the sink in the bathroom could improve.

Friendly welcoming staff.
Paper thin walls. Absolutely no soundproofing.
No windows or vents in some of the dorm rooms. Yuck! Stale curry farts air.
The bunks are those super cheap, noisy, unstable and flimsy metal jobs. Without privacy curtains.
No hooks for hanging clothes in the shower area!

No soap or shampoo or anything in bathrooms.
