This is our third year in a row staying in these flats, and we had the same flat twice in a row now.
It works perfectly for us to visit family who live in Varkiza. I've shared in previous reviews about how this is a modern flat in a traditional polykatoikia (block of flats). The block itself isn't modern but it's perfect for what we need and a truer experience about how most Greeks live.
The location (respective to Varkiza overall) is in the best part of Varkiza, close to everything. We didn't have any noise and Bettina's touches to the flat were perfect.
But the best thing about the whole stay is how accommodating, responsive and helpful Bettina is to everything. It makes staying there a true pleasure and I'm sure we'll be back next year.
Hard to find a fault. One of our shutters was broken. When we mentioned this to Bettina, she responded within minutes and was at the flat within half an hour to help us fix it temporarily until it could be properly fixed (you can't get work done in Greece in August as everyone is on holiday!).

The apartment is very modern, clean and bright. The location is perfect: close to the beach, public transportation, the supermarkets and restaurants. Our cat approved as well and didn’t want to leave. Finally, our host Bettina was very friendly and helpful !

We stayed here at the end of July for one night and wished we had additional nights. we had 2 rooms (one for 4 people and 1 for 2) and everything was wonderful! The host met us upon arrival to give us the keys and show us the rooms. She even had some fresh fruit in the fridges for us that were wonderful on the hot days. The beach was a short 8 min walk away and the grocery store was on the way at about 5 min away. There are restaurants and cafes near the main road (5 min) and everything was easily accessible. the Airport is about 25 min drive away which was great for an early flight the next morning. We travel to Greece almost yearly and this will definitely be a place we look up for next time.

We had a great stay! The apartment is nicely furnished, very clean, with a spacious balcony. It has everything you need, plus a TV and air conditioning in both the living room and bedrooms. Supermarkets, restaurants, and a pharmacy are all within a short walking distance. There are several nearby beaches and rocky coves, with both free and paid options. We especially enjoyed a large beach just a 5-minute bus ride along the coast (the bus stop is very close), where the entrance fee was very reasonable. The Acropolis can be reached comfortably by bus and metro in a little over an hour. Bettina, the host, is very kind, helpful, and communicative, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a great location and a comfortable place to stay.
