Comfortable and great location.

We were a family of five adults staying for six nights. We loved the location, quiet and relaxing. A very short walk to the beach at the bottom of the road and many other swimming spots to choose from close by. The pool at the villa was an added bonus and would have been great had our kids been smaller, but had I realised quite how close the sea was it wasn't really necessary for us.
The beautiful town of Trogir was a 15/20min drive away, a lovely place to stroll around or go for a meal out. Split was accessible by a ferry from Slatine harbour (20min walk) that did four round trips each day. We had a couple of excellent meals in Restoran Neverin but other wise cooked at the villa which had a well equipped kitchen (get your food shop at a big supermarket before you get onto Ciovo). Another activity that we would highly recommend was a guided quadbike tour around the island with Pine Tree Quad Adventures, great fun, a good way to see the island and some incredible view points.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the villa was comfortable and clean. It was the most expensive place we stayed in Croatia but Slatine was a very restful quiet place and Ciovo is an absolutely beautiful island with the benefit of being connected to the mainland by bridge so access was easy.
The communication was a bit officious, we had the usual prompts from Booking.com but then many more from adriatic.hr which seemed to more than double the conformations / paperwork / reminders / review prompts etc. It felt a bit too much having to respond to both companies and the property host as well.
The villa was great but sparce, we could have done with some bed side lamps in the bedrooms. And there wasn't any written information, maps or leaflets in the villa, it would have been helpful to have more information about the local area / attractions / boat timetables / the villa / appliance instructions etc.
There is parking at the property but the lane to the villa and the space you need to reverse into is very tight, certainly do not take a large car/van.
During our stay there were some road works and house renovations happening close by which did disturb the peace and quiet, unfortunate timing I guess but no compensation was offered for this. At most times it would be very peaceful here without these building noises.
Remember to pack you mosquito spray! We were bitten alot on our first night, but kindly the host gave us some spray and plug in repellents to use.

Dom jest wyposażony naprawdę we wszystko co było nam potrzebne.
Super opcja to podgrzewany basen - nawet jeśli był chłodniejszy wieczór we wrześniu to można było na spokojnie się kąpać w basenie.
