Tanah Marah

The environment at Tanah Marah is really exceptional. The forest, the lemon trees, lake, row boat, sheep and cows, and the fire pit were all really great. The children loved feeding the animals and we appreciated the provision of animal feed. Picking lemons off the trees was also a wonderful experience. The hosts are wonderfully sincere and genuine. They were kind and thoughtful and even remembered the names of our children throughout the week we were there. They replied our messages in good time and were always ready to help. Thank you so much, Linda & Lucy. We really enjoyed our stay.

The chalet floors were a little dirty and the kitchen appliances & BBQ weren't the cleanest and not well-maintained. The laundry is located in a separate shed which was inconvenient. But these are small things, overall it is an excellent place to stay.

Its a wonderful place of rest, with comfortable chalets, amazing owners (Linda, Rory, Lucy and Mel), with their focus on sustainability, the lake, animals and trees around. We love the place and hope to be back again soon!

None at all

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Tanah Marah Farmstay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quite well-maintained. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to provide recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing spots around Margaret River. Our children especially loved the time they had with the friendly farm dogs, Annie and Panda, and being so close to the sheep. The peaceful surroundings and farm atmosphere made it a memorable experience for the whole family.

The property is quite secluded and accessed through a forested area. During winter, it gets dark quite early, and the drive back to the farmstay at night can be challenging. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable stay.
