The cabin is very nice we love the place and the view, probably more nice if there’s a lot of snow.However some things needs maintenance or needs to be change..The cabinet below right by the fridge(left) is hard to close, the pool table mat need to be fix, sliding door by the main deck is hard to open, the home decor and frames is dusty..Other than that as i said we love and enjoy the place, we will come back hopefully when theres a lot of snow next time! Thank you!

Had plans for the 4th of July change at the last minute and was able to find Misty Creek on the website - available! Called and Taylor-Made staff was very courteous with reservation. Arrived at Misty Creek later that day and was surprised at the spaciousness, secluded location, comfortable furnishings and upscale kitchen. Although located at the end of the cove, access to lake was more than adequate but would have been nice to of had more of a "view" of DCL. We recommend Misty Creek and would stay there again.

We would come back to Deep Creek especially in the summer. We might look to a different house as the little things were overlooked. The kitchen needs restocking with dishes and silverware. The furniture should be replaced. I didn't hear any complaints about the beds. The hiking trails and state parks are great

The house was great & we all enjoyed it's secluded location & dock! Two items for note - very rocky path down to the dock for those of us w/ bad knees; second, the outside chairs in the pictures could not be found!

Based on the rental price paid for the week, I am a bit disappointed with this rental. Broken seals on sliding glass door (detracts from what would otherwise be a beautiful view), sliding screen doors were a hassle, ceiling fan in the master bedroom loft did not work (management did provide box fans) and 2 noisy dehumidifiers had to be run in the basement. One wasn't functioning properly and the other had to be emptied several times a day. Ceiling fan in one of the basement bedrooms "wobbles" excessively and is a bit noisy as a result. In addition , the furniture was old and dated. Dining room table had a "distressed" appearance but I don't think that was the intent. Doesn't appear the owner puts much investment back into his/her property. I would definitely not recommend this property at the rental price charged.

A little disappointing. Comforter had dog hairs on it. When I told the office, they picked it up to clean it and never returned it. Also, this should not be listed as lakefront. It is NOT! You have to walk down a long trail to get to the dock and you cannot even see the water from the house. I have rented lake access homes that were more lakefront than this. The sliding screens on the house were broken and we could not leave the doors open to enjoy the breeze.

We enjoyed our family vacation in this house. There is plenty of room, parking, and very private. Any time there was an issue, the management office responded quickly. The only negative is that the downstairs bathroom smells like urine. There must be a leak that needs repaired. We did report it. Otherwise, the house was very clean.

The house was very nice and in a perfect location. Only complaint is the beds were pretty uncomfortable. I'm not expecting hotel quality but the one in the main floor bedroom with porch access was awful. Also the hot tub jets barely worked so we basically just sat in hot water. Over all though the house was great!

However, a problem we run into in our vacation homes is more fridge space is really required of a house that is suited for more than 12 people. We also noticed the hot water did not last very long. We were fifteen adults getting together for the weekend. The house had great seating to promote togetherness but didn't feel crowded. The bedrooms gave adequate privacy, and the accommodations were perfect. We had a fire in the fire place, got lots of use out of the hot tub, sat around the large table for meals, and gathered around the living room for lots of games. The description said only 5 cars, but parked efficiently, we fit 7 cars. Also, during the ice storm, the driveway was salted and the road was relatively clear. The kitchen is also pretty well stocked for meal prep.

Everything was clean and in excellent shape when we arrived. Everything we needed the house was equipped with. The hot tube was awes the kids were in it everyday we were there. The staff was great. On two separate occasions we realized we forgot some. They were extremely accommodating with helping us get our items that were left behind. We will certainly come back again. Everyone in our group definitely would like to come back soon. Thank you Taylormade for such a wonderful and memorable vacation.

The house was nice. Few problems the basement was very musty and smelled. It actually stunk. We kept the basement door clothes at all times because It smelled so bad. There were 2 couples that stayed in the basement and it was rough for both couples due to the musty/moldy smells. I would not rent this property again. It gave me a headache the entire time and I had allergy issues due to the condition of the basement

This home is very accommodating to my family. There were 4 families in the home.Four of the guests were 3yrs and under. They had a great time. We rented a boat for 2 days so appreciated the dock slip.The hot tub is definitely a plus. We had fires at night at the fire pit. The only issue that I can see is that the firepit is on a slope so sitting at the fire was at times a challenge. It is very easy for the chairs to tip over on the slope. Overall a great vacation!!

The house was clean and overall I stay was GOOD. However there were a few issues that we had during our stay. *No TV in two bedrooms *Mildew smell in the basement.We Had to dump two humidifier twice a day.(what a chore) *Internet went out a day before we were scheduled to leave. *Pots and pans were plentiful but in terrible shape. Dishes were chipped as well. *Grill was awful. We had to buy a new grate which we left for the next tenants. Carpet in the Master had a lot of stains. The description was accurate however the path to the water front was raw and not easy for children to navigate. Please make a path. We had good customer service however no one mentioned the issue with the smelly basement.
