Located in Kent, this lovely house for $249 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Tranquil resort style property 40m from downtown Seattle on a private country lane is an ideal setting for your couples getaway or bring-the-family vacation. The Stillwater Farm experience features 2 King master suites w luxury mattresses, linens and towels, along with a charming 2-person bunk room in a spacious open-plan home with a massive brick hearth fireplace (convenient propane) and a gathering room style cook's kitchen. Enjoy the patio, fountain, flower gardens, rolling lawns and views of Stillwater Pond with private outdoor dining and relaxed seating around the fire-pit; or stroll down tree-lined Cherry Lane to the breathtaking Mt. Rainier viewing bench. Our natural pond attracts ducks, geese and herons visiting our resident bullfrog. Bunnies live on property and we have visits from bald eagles, a rare glimpse of river otter, and the occasional deer or coyote. Dine in Covington, Maple Valley, Kent Station or Southport-Renton Landing restaurants or catch some shopping, the movie theatre or enjoy golf and Lake Washington's Gene Coulon beachfront park in 10m-15m. 20m to airport. Highly recommend this home. Quiet, peaceful location that is located within 10-15 minutes of many shopping and eating places. Costco is close by. Loved the pond in the back yard that was visited by ducks every morning. Great view of Mt Rainier up the road. Comfortable beds. So much better than a hotel. The owners are located in a home next door and were wonderful to work with.

We were in the Seattle area for our family reunion and this place was just perfect for those of us that flew in. We loved the home, spacious and cozy . Perfect for us to visit and catch up. Very nice location and very quiet. A 3 minute walk to a beautiful view of Mount Rainier. Great kitchen and plenty of room to sleep. We loved the outdoor patio and the place was surrounded by gorgeous flowers and shrubs. 8 minutes from grocery store. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved this home and property! It was the perfect place to stay. This was the most amazing location to stay. It is away from the city but close enough to everything that driving wasn’t a hassle. I loved how much wildlife was around this property. It is a beautiful, cozy, peaceful home and property. The house and location were perfect for our family while i was in town for work. The house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the peacful area and all the trees. I would highly recomend this home for anyone traveling with a large family.

It was just what we need for one week vacation. The farmhouse is welcoming in a large garden yard with beautiful colors. There’s a pond where frog and duck are familiar. The best stay experience in a house. We will stay there again in a next journey to Seattle. It was just as like pictures and description.

A warm and welcoming home situated just outside of Kent proper. Love that this home can be a retreat from Kent and still close enough to Kent, Covington and Maple Valley for quick trips as needed. The property was very charming. Surrounded by lush greenery and views of Mt. Rainier. Love the large windows in the living room as you wake up and look out into the distance. This home is great for anybody looking for a rental that can accommodate a family for a trip.

This was a great central place for us to stay. Kid love the yard and running around. This was central for us to visit downtown and for the wedding. Nice clean and really enjoyed our stay there. Only thing we sort of didn't like was they asked for us to wash the towels and some other cleaning that we had not had to do in other rentals. It was fine but just was a little time waster that we had to make sure was done before we left.

As you watched the cherry blossoms falling from the trees you got to breathe in the peacefulness that surrounded you.
The house was roomy, clean and comfortable, rustic in its charm, and had all the amenities you would need. Kitchen well supplied.
Tv, roku and gas fireplace was extremely nice in this rainy May. We had great communication with the owner and even solved a problem quickly.

Wonderful property
My daughter and I stayed at this rental for a long term stay, it was extremely comfortable and I would recommend anyone to stay here. The kitchen has many things you would need for cooking and the spacious layout of the home makes you feel homey. I would be happy to stay here again if needed. The pond and the frogs at night is so soothing.

Simply put, this is the best VRBO home we've ever rented in western Washington and we'll be renting it again and again when we come from Texas to see my family. The property is beautiful. The home reminds me of the typical PNW home I grew up in during the 1970s and 80s. The beds are super comfortable. And it is so well-appointed with *EVERYTHING* we have needed. (Unlike one other reviewer of this home, we would never expect shampoo and other sundries to be supplied, particularly in the COVID era.) In fact, without having to buy any prepping and cooking kitchenware, I was able to easily cook and serve a celebratory dinner in honor of our son's college graduation for 27 extended family members.

Picturesque setting but amenities need improving.
It was wonderful to come home after a busy day of sightseeing and relax in the beautiful yard. The setting is beautiful. The amenities however could use improvement; there was a used bar of soap in the master bathroom, no bath soap in the guest bathroom and no shampoo and conditioner although info provided said that was provided. Kitchen had a used dirty sponge and a set of bedsheets were stained.

Farm house stay
The house is a lovely and comfortable farm house in a beautiful neighborhood. It is very peaceful, and a great location. We enjoyed our stay quite a bit, however there are a few things that would make our stay well worth the price
. The owner/manager need to give a bit more attention to the details of the home prior to guests arriving. While the house is lovely, things such as the front door not working, and the landscape near the house needing some tending made it seem like they were not ready for guests. There are blackberry bushes and some nearly dead bushes which should be removed. It probably would not normally be a big deal, but the photo on VRBO makes it looks much better cared for than it was. Also, there were several items missing which we have had in other resort homes. Unfortunately, there were not basic items such as bar soap, shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, any kind of tupperware, Seran wrap, foil or Ziploc bags in the kitchen, any kind of kettle for heating water and some basic kitchen utensils. This made cooking in the home a bit trickier than it has been in other homes.
None of these things on their own would have been very noticeable or a problem, but putting them all together and considering the price of the home, it would have been nice to have these details taken care of.
Nonetheless, it was generally very comfortable, and we did enjoy our stay.
