Wow! What a spot! This is truly a special experience. This house has been in the family a number of generations and they have recently added three beautiful rooms and a beautiful terrance that overlooks the town and valley. It is spectacular!!! The family couldn't have been more welcoming. The house is situated on the hill directly below the castle with great views of Berat, near everything. If you would enjoy accommodation in a traditional Berat house, this it it.
Well, parking can be a bit of a challenge but we found a spot on the main road just below the house. There is also parking in a municipal lot not far away. Don't bring large suitcases because you need to carry them up the hill to the house.

Great location. Beautiful views. Clean comfortable room. Excellent breakfast from the balcony overlooking the city. Sweet welcoming host family above all. Would love to come back.
