Everything- absolutely 5 star accommodation. Quality bed linen, decor, furnishings, equipment etc. Hosts were lovely people. Location to everything in Alnwick was fabulous - 5 min walk into the centre and also near The Gardens. Next door to Lidl for any shopping needs.

Whole experience was beyond our expectation. We were met by our very friendly hosts as if we were long standing family friends. Weather and journey had been appalling but thankfully we were welcomed into David and Beverly's home and they took care of everything to enable us to settle in and relax while they attended to our luggage and provided us with refreshments and cake and did everything to make us feel very special and very welcome. Once settled in and established they gave us a guided tour of our accommodation explained everything, enquired if we needed anything and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. They were excellent company yet managed to strike a balance and give us our own space when required. Best short holiday experience we have had yet. Thank you.
Could not find any fault at all or anything that could be improved related to our accommodation, treatment or involvement with our hosts. For our part there was nothing about our short stay at The Coach House that we would suggest could be improved. If we return to that area again we would certainly book a stay at the Coach House without hesitation.

Everything! Bev and David are extremely welcoming; their home is beautiful, perfectly located for walking into Alnwick and up to the Castle and Gardens. Breakfast is fresh and more than adequate, we didnt need lunch! The smoked salmon is brought in from Seahouses and is delicious. Jimmy is an added bonus, an adorable Cocker Spaniel!

Excellent breakfast with so much choice. All requests cheerfully met. Your food is brought to your room which was a treat.
David met us on the Lane and showed us where to park. We left the car and walked into Alnwick which is literally on the doorstep so the location was great for us.
The room has beautiful decor and a comfy settee to use. No road noise and good black out blinds.
Beverly and David were wonderfully helpful and friendly offering advice on where to go to eat in the town, which we took.
Nothing at all. Customer service excellent.
We enjoyed our three night stay very much and would recommend the Tack Room at the Coach House to all.

David & Beverly are amazing hostes, very friendly with attention to detail, the accommodation is immaculate, comfortable & cosy, we are already planning to return, haven't left yet, breakfast is by far a treat, cooked & served beautifully, Jimmy is their beautiful dog, who greets you with the waggiest tail, love him 🐶💗The Coach house is highly recommended ❤️🏡 Thank you so much xx

The Groom's Loft is like a little apartment all to itself. It's own private staircase on to a landing where a table is set for breakfast. A mini fridge with milk and tea and coffee making facilities are located there, plenty to choose from. Glasses for wine etc are also provided. Fantastic spacious bathroom with large bath, separate double shower and a plentiful supply of luxuriously soft towels, beautifully decorated. Toiletries are also provided. Bedroom/living room provides a comfortable retreat. Plenty of storage space for belongings, comfy sofa and tv. The accommodation is so quiet. Only a few minutes from Alnwick town centre and all its amenities. Breakfast is a delight. Exceptional choice brought to you at a prearranged time to your breakfast area overlooking their walled garden, an absolute joy.
Finally, the hosts, David and Beverley (and Jimmy the dog) are wonderful. You feel welcome even before you arrive with a courtesy call to check arrival time and to confirm directions etc. When you are there, you instantly feel at ease and very welcome. They are a fountain of knowledge about the area and are genuinely a fantastic couple.
Nothing - it is really the best place to stay when in Alnwick as a couple who want pampering and peace and quiet.

This place was wonderful, clean, spacious and inviting in a gorgeous setting not far from the town centre with nice homely decor and the hosts were so lovely and accomadating. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from, continental and full english. It was brought up to us in our apt which we thought was a lovely touch. They even provided freshly laundered robes for us to wear and there was also a hairdryer along with toiletries and towels etc. We would definitely recommend and the town of Alnwick was also well worth a visit and a good base for visiting lots of places along the coast.

Had such a wonderful stay, everything was clean and amenities ready for use within the Tack Room. Most of Alnwick's best features and attractions were all within walking distance, and hosts David and Bev were incredibly courteous and friendly; even going as far to leave us a bottle of Prosecco and box of truffles for our Valentine's stay. Thank you!
As others have mentioned before, the parking is down a very narrow lane where turning around is INCREDIBLY difficult. I kept it in mind when booking but didn't realise just how narrow this road was. Turning is done by using two other drives on the lane that are quite significantly sloped and there's also neighbouring cars parked adjacent along the lane just to make things more complicated. My car vicinity sensors were going crazy just driving down the road. I like to reverse park but here I would advise others to drive in forward. Had a few chuckles at my own expense, and it's certainly of no fault of the owners, but it's frankly stressful and something for other guests to keep in mind. Especially if you have an SUV.

This was a very comfortable place to stay. The breakfast was really good. Lots of fruit and yogurt and then a cooked breakfast which was perfect. You made the choice the night before so you knew what you were going to have. It was a very peaceful location even though it was only a short walk into the middle of Alnwick.
The room was not quite as big as expected and there was more furniture than necessary which made it a bit cramped.

David and Bev are fantastic hosts. We were made to feel at home immediately on our arrival and were met with tea and delicious cake. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our short stay very special. The rooms were outstanding - spotless, excellent decor and furniture, and a very comfy bed.
Breakfast was great, too. An outstanding menu and cooked to perfection. The location near the town centre could not have been better with everything within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. Plenty to choose from and 3 courses included in the price with unlimited tea and coffee and generous breakfast portion sizes.
Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive and the whole space was immaculate with complimentary tea and cake on arrival to and complimentary tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits , clean bedding and the room cleaned daily.
The en suite shower room was very clean and spacious and had the added bonus of a kitchen in case guests didn’t
want to pay to eat out. This could prove very handy as the property is situated a few minutes away from Lidl’s
It’s only a 10 minute walk into the town and David managed to book us into the local restaurant for dinner which again was excellent dining.
Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend the Coach House
The heating was on on arrival which made the room very warm, but our hosts turned this off on request.
I can’t fault this place in anyway.

The location was perfect and the accommodation was outstanding in every respect! We stayed in The Tack Room which provided absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable! It is beautifully decorated and has been thoughtfully designed by David and Bev! The outside space was lovely too! The choice of breakfast is amazing and the best we have ever had! Clearly the hosts are very passionate about providing their guests with a wonderful holiday experience and we could not have been catered for any better! The best B&B we have ever stayed in and we cannot wait to return! Absolutely fabulous and thoroughly recommend it!
