It is close to university so easy for parents to help their kids to settle in. Very clean and easy to find. The host is very friendly and helpful.
Close to a big road so it can be noisy. Also if party is downstairs at the pub it is like you are ag the party too. But we knew this could be the case so no worries there.

Very clean and nicely decorated. Rooms small but comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Attentive service on arrival, great staff. Parking available nearby and easy, close to AMEX. Perfect stay for my needs.

The room was very clean, and had everything I needed to stay the night. Did allow me to leave my bag early, due to timing of event, which was really nice of the manager.
No reception, and the pub doesn’t open until 5pm, it would be nice to have some lunch, a drink, and then check in.
Received a call from the manager at 7:30am. I called back, to ask why, was told it was a mistake, and then he hung the phone up on me, before I could say anything else. Maybe a bit of miscommunication, but came across a tad rude. With no central desk, communication seemed sketchy. In the end I didn’t go for breakfast, as I had no idea where it was.
This isn’t a reflection on the hotel but worth noting that it’s 20m by bus from the beach, but regular buses do drop you around the corner.
