This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We really like the balcony and all the space in the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, etc.. We bring our food in a cooler and mostly stay at the resort and enjoy the beach and pool. It is nice and relaxing. :) This was our friends first time to Rocky Point, and they really enjoyed it.

First night we had no water….Boan was an amazing host and responded quickly. Let us know water to whole complex was off due to city water line failure. We had Warm water in guest bath the next 2 nights but we never got warm water in master bath….very quick showers! Condo was lovely and I would rent from Boan again but maybe not this property, unless he let us know warm water problem was fixed.

The place was good and the view is amazing, we enjoyed our time there the only down thing is there was no baby crib, booked this place because it was specified that they had a traveler baby crib. I have a 9 month old baby that i had to keep in beed with me (co Speel, never done it before due to safety) because i didn't have where to put him to sleep safely. Tried to contact the owner and im not sure how come i never received a reply back.

A few things to mention about this condo, the patio is AMAZING! However this place really needs an update! The guest bathroom towel holder is attached by medical tape, it takes OVER 20 minutes for the water to get warm in that bathroom. When contacting the owner he said its a long way to those oipes, however the master bath shower gets warm right Way. Furniture was worn and uncomfortable in the living room. Just not what we thought for a luxurous penthouse!

We had a great time! Beautiful place and beautiful condo. Staff was very friendly. There were some strong winds that shook the sliding glass doors pretty vigorously but other that that it was great!

My sister and I took my mom on a girls trip and stayed at this property. A great view is so important to us and this property did not disappoint! We had a completely unobstructed view of the ocean and beautiful grounds. I am SUPER picky about the views and this was better than the pictures. It was wonderful and we spent hours on the patio looking out into the ocean.
The condo was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The staff was very helpful and got us right up to our room, helping us with all our bags. The condo was clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable.
We spent a lot of time enjoying the views and down at the beach. We were lucky enough to arrive as the hotel is completing quite a few new palapas. We really enjoyed the shade and chairs. We had brought our own set ups, but during the 3 days we were there, we didn't have any trouble getting chairs and a palapa.
The hotel also had a small 'spa' that we used for massages and pedicures. The services were heavenly and great prices! I regretted not getting another massage before we left! ha ha!
The owner of the condo was responsive and very helpful. We had a couple questions the first night and we appreciated his quick answers.
Our expectations of the condo were exceeded and we loved it! We had a very special trip and will return!

Amazing condo! Very nice location and has the best view of all. Everything about it first class and very clean.
Dont forget the security form from the owner', The guards at the gate will ask for it at ck in, we didnt have it but guards nicely helped us figure it out.

The place was beautiful and everything was great! The only hiccup was at the gate checking in. The owner has to send a letter to management you are coming and they did not have it. I had to dig for the number to the owner and it was atressful for a hot minute! He answered right away and took care of.it so that was great. We had a blast and everything else was perfect! We will be back!

Outstanding condo in an excellent location with a commanding view of Sandy Beach and the pool area.. It might just have the best balcony of all the Sun condos. Wide wraparound with no overhang to block the sun. Everything inside is first class. One caution, make sure you have the security form from the owner when you get to the gate, we didn't and the guards are sticklers for this. Will go back for sure!

Great location and view. Overall unit was outdated and beds were hard as rocks. Unit just needs a good ole fashioned renovation. Water pressure like other places in RP is horrible. Bathrooms, kitchen and living areas all are old. But, the view is awesome! Great experience with owner.

Absolutely unbeatable views and location. The space is very large. Only downfall was that the water pressure is weak and the hot water was very hit or miss. However, this is pretty standard for Rocky point condos. Boan is very responsive and helpful. The graounds are clean and safe. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Will rent again from Boan again.

Beautifully decorated place with an oversized balcony. My family was very impressed with the space. The maids did a great job at cleaning and the decorations with towels (animal shaped). Although the stay was cut short by weather, we will definitely return again in the near future.

Absolutely gorgeous condo overlooking the pools and ocean, huge patio to sit and drink your coffee.
We would definitely love to rent this penthouse again it was beautiful and roomy inside, beautifully decorated and the view from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom was looking at the beautiful ocean.
The security for the resort are great we saw them helping a young girl who had cut her foot and an elderly woman who fell and hit her head on the steps they were there quickly to help with their first aid kit. The pools at the resort are so big and nice with a swim up bar. We definitely want to come back to stay at this condo.

Wonderful Stay
My wife and I spent the weekend at this location. It was very clean with fantastic views. The check-in process and getting around the property was very easy. Really great location and hospitality.

NOT a "luxurious penthouse", not even close
Of course when you see a listing "Luxurious Penthouse" you rightfully have high expectations of something very nice and extravagant. Though the condo is decent, it's nothing fancy and it's certainly not luxurious. I think they should remove that from the title. The furniture is dated, there are no special amenities (not even shampoo/conditioner) and there is not a single luxurious thing about it. You can have the same experience renting a less expensive unit in this same resort, I know because I have in the past.
I wasn't going to put this in the review, but I feel that with the response I got from the owner was irresponsible and I think it's important that he knows that he needs to take care of people, especially when they are on vacation looking to have an amazing time away and especially when your condo has an issue with SEWAGE!!! Yes, sewage!
So....the entire condo except the master bedroom was consumed with a urine/dirty toilet water smell. I'm not talking a little bit, it was overpowering and disgusting. I thought there had been toilet that overflowed and dirty water was left out to dry on the walls and floor. It was gross and nasty.
I was able to keep the smell out of the master bedroom and since we were only staying 1 night and we were at the beach all day I just dealt with it. Then next day I messaged the owner who admitted there was a wax seal on the toilet that was broken. Instead of doing the right thing and taking care of us he left it at that. I was disappointed that he didn't offer even a tiny discount, he said something about next time..uhh unlikely a next time is going to happen.
Boan, if you know there was an issue with the SEWER just take care of us. Especially when we didn't make a big deal about it or insisted to be moved in the middle of the night making your life hell. IDK I just think people should be better than that.
Regarding the resort itself, it too is very dated. The pool bar was super dirty. I watched the bartender "washing" his hands by dipping them in a sink full of water (no soap), which makes me think they didn't have running water which makes sense why I never saw him wipe down the bar nor the utensils he was using. He was very nice though :)
So overall the Sonoran Sun is not that great. I'd suggest the Sonoran Sky or Sonoran Spa or waiting for the new Sonoran Star to open.
I do give 5-Stars to the Sandy Beach, which is always beautiful and fabulous!
