Clean and well-equipped apartment with a shared pool that we often had to ourselves! Hosts were very friendly & gave us a warm welcome. It's only a short 10 minute taxi from Dubrovnik airport. Cavtat is a beautiful place, stunning scenery, calm sea for swimming and plenty of restaurants (we recommend Bokunbocun)
The only thing to flag is the location at the top of a very steep hill (although it makes for great views from the pool!) It's a 10/15 minute walk downhill into Cavtat and we took an uber back up to the aparment (10 euros). We actually quite liked the peace and quiet of being a little bit away from the main seafront.

We spent a very enjoyable 7 nights at Vila Elena. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with all mod cons and amazing views over the sea and mountains. Patricia and IIija were wonderful hosts and greeted us on arrival with a glass of their own grappa. Lovely touch. They also gifted us two bottles of wine from their vineyard. The complex has everything you need, the pool area is lovely although we didn’t use it very much as we prefer to swim in the sea. Equally given the very hot weather while we were there we didn’t take advantage of the sauna or use the gym but they would be great to have access to during cooler weather. The apartment itself was very clean and the bed super comfortable. Very quiet at night and it was lovely to wake up each morning to the wonderful views. The apartment is located about a 15 minute walk uphill from Cavtat which we did a couple of times but also took the bus which runs every 30 mins. All in all we had a wonderful time in Cavtat and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vila Elena. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and would be delighted to return again in the future.

Great place, super location, incredibly clean with all mod cons. Everything you need for your stay. Very high standard of fittings, furniture, very comfortable. No expense has been spared on this property, we were highly impressed. Exceeded all our expectations and we will certainly be returning. We were welcomed and shown everything on arrival. Pool was perfect, suited both my kids and adults. Highly recommend as you won’t be disappointed.

We liked everything! The apartment was very spacious and extremely well equipped. It was very clean and very well maintained. There were enough towels, even proper big beach towels for the pool. We loved the walking distance from the town centre. This was a normal morning and evening walk for us, even though the steep way down and back up in the heat was very sweaty. We took it as healthy exercise💪Bus no. 10 also runs from town close to Villa Elena’s.
The host was amazing and a person with a warm personality and skills to handle guests at their property.
Grocery store near and easy to make eg. breakfast and enjoy the breathtaking view to the sea and also the hills from the balcony.
Everything went according to our plans!
