Situated in Kiawah Island, this attractive villa for $540 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Oceanfront Windswept Villa. Steps from the beach. The boardwalk is just outside your backdoor, so no lugging up and down elevators. First floor, renovated, Windswept Villa. Same day check-ins may be available. Just send a request if the calendar is unclear, to Robert Epps. The app doesn't show same day availability and after 6pm it no longer shows next day. A Video tour of your villa is in the photo gallery. This villa will leave you with nothing but good times and happy memories. Walk out the back door to access the boardwalk, which leads you down a short path directly to the sand. You will easily be able to start your morning right by enjoying your hot coffee on the beach with an amazing sunrise. Enjoy the ocean scents and sounds of waves from your covered deck. Perfect for relaxing, reading or taking a nap. No Check-In required. Keypad entry. Beach access is also keypad entry for your convenience. Sleeper (twin size) in living room is also provided as a back up for you. The big gray chair shown in the pictures is the twin sleeper. Enjoy a clean, crisp, uncluttered interior surrounding. The Villa provides a calm and comforting place to unwind. If you prefer to be at the beach, but want clean and cozy when winding down, then our Villa is for you. Golf and Tennis are available for a fee. Reservations are encouraged. Night Heron Park is just a 3 minute walk from your location, as well. Night heron grill and Nature Center The nature center houses baby alligators, this place is a wonderful spot to drop in and is open to everyone. This villa does not have pool access. Charleston is an easy drive from Kiawah. Bike ride on the beach! The sand is such that riding or jogging on the beach is easy and fun. Our kids learned to ride bikes with out training wheels on this beach :) Miles of winding, tree covered bike trails all throughout the island. Discovering where they all go is half the fun. Bikes can be rented and are the preferred mode of transportation on the island and available from multiple vendors. Charleston is a 30 min drive away from your location for dining, shopping, tours and more. Additional Details: 800 mps High speed Internet package. TVs have main streaming apps are preloaded for you to be able sign into your own accounts. The living room features soft velour couch and chair with ottoman for reading or watching the 70" flat screen TV. Coffee table and reading light as well as recessed lighting throughout the villa. Main bedroom features a king size bed with 46' flat screen TV. Walkout sliders to access the back stairs. The attached bath has large walk-in shower with hand held shower on a bar slide. The second room is a small space that is meant for children, or teenagers. Ideal for those looking for twin sized bunk beds to accommodate a family with children. Kids love it! But it's really small. Kids love it. It is their own little getaway. It is not bedroom, just a bunk-room. We wouldn't want to suggest that 2 adults would be comfortable in this room even though we have stayed in it comfortably. This room also has a full sized dresser and 32' flat screen on the wall. The second bathroom also has a large walk-in shower with the shower head on a sliding bar, vanity and commode. Only stop is the guard gate where you pull up to the window for your gate pass. Kiawah is a gated community. We send you a scan code that the guard scans and then prints a pass for you. You can go straight to the Villa and simply use a keypad code that we will send to you directly. Once you have the gate pass at first entry, no more stopping at the gate :) And when not relaxing and unwinding inside the beautiful Villa, there are miles of beach to enjoy. Questions are welcomed. Just send us a message and we will reply quickly. Special Notes: Smart Doorbell on outside of door. We turn this off when guests arrive. Keep this in mind if you order deliveries. The delivery service will need to "knock" on the door, as the doorbell will be off. A lovely space in a beautiful spot. We enjoyed all the outdoor activities and make cozy meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The hosts communicated throughout and really took extra steps to ensure we had a nice stay. We would love to visit again!

All the finishes and decor are fresh and clean. Great location for getting around the island. Even though it’s a condo, they were people above us and you could barely tell. While we couldn’t see the beach from the condo, you could hear the ocean while sitting on the back porch and it was easy to come and go to the beach.

We loved the convenience of walking out the back door and heading out to the beach. Early morning coffee on the back porch, with the rolling sounds of the waves was particularly enjoyable. Villa had all conveniences, very comfortably and attractively decorated.

The condo was beautiful and very clean. There were fresh flowers on the table and a new card game (Uno) to play. We played several times. The beach is gorgeous. The condo is very close to the Sanctuary to rent bikes, which were so much fun. We were also able to take part in gator walks and a 2 hour guided bike ride through the wetlands. We had a very nice time. I highly recommend this condo.

This property was the perfect location to stay in during the Kiawah Marathon. We loved being on the beach, although we couldn’t see it from the condo since it’s on the first floor. The bedrooms are small, but they worked for us. Having two bathrooms was a big plus. Robert and Marisa were great hosts. They were very thoughtful and quick to reply to our messages. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Kiawah.

The owners are very helpful right from the beginning of your booking with helpful information and great communication. The condominium is very nice as reflected in the pictures. Location is hard to beat as you are a 50 yard walk to the ocean. The porch area is also very nice with a partial view of the beach just above the dunes and very relaxing. We will be back. Thanks!

We arrived and couldn’t seem to find the front door code in our emails. No worries - the owners quickly responded while we waited at the front door of the condo for just a few moments. When we entered, a beautiful bouquet of daisies (real!) were greeting us on the kitchen table along with a lovely view of the ocean. Our daughters couldn’t wait to exit the beachside of the condo and experience the incredibly close proximity of the ocean. Everything about the unit was exactly as described. There were no surprises, and it was decorated with a casual elegance that leaned toward comfortable rustic. The condo was updated as described with current appliances and bathroom fixtures. I think our favorite part was the location of the unit to the beach and the privacy. We rented bikes and only went to Charleston for a day. Kiaweh had everything right there, including a great grocery store that kept us condo and beach-based for most of the week. And when we needed advice on the area, the owners were only a phone call, text or email away. Yes, the unit may be on the small side at less than 800 square feet for a two bedroom. But we are a close family. End even when it rained, it was cozy and more than sufficient for our needs. Between the wonderful porch area for relaxing with a book, a beach for your backyard and a really well-equipped condo for our purposes, our first vacation since 2018 was memorable and relaxing. We were grateful the unit was even available given our last minute plans. We hope to return again in autumn. A big shout-out to the owners for making us feel so welcomed and cared for. It was a special week.

From beginning to end, we couldn't have had a better experience.
The property is beautiful and in a perfect location. The owners, Robert & Marisa, have really thought of every amenity you'd need and to make you feel at home. From the first welcome message to the final goodbye we felt taken care of. We were surprised by the fresh flowers and bottle of wine that greeted us as we entered from a long day of travel. It was such a lovely treat! We had no issues getting acclimated and prepared with the information and details of the area that was provided ahead of time.
I'm gushing because it was that good. We've stayed at many VRBO properties and this was hands down our best experience. Highly recommend!

From my initial contact with the hosts to my arrival and stay at this beautiful property I was amazed. Everything was well organized, clean, easy to use. The location was great. The one minute walk to the beach was easy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

This lovely apartment is right on the boardwalk to the splendid beach (great for walking and the water was delightfully warm). The owners are truly super hosts! The apartment is beautifully appointed, with all the appliances and cookware we needed to prepare meals, as we spent most nights in (though we did sample some recommended restaurants, thanks to our hosts). Looking out at the dunes and sea beyond, you have a feeling of being in a garden. Nice and calm. The beach is outstanding and we certainly took Robert's advice to check out the sunrises. Stunning! This is a perfect apartment for a couple or a family with small children. It is clean and well-maintained, and the complex itself is nicely designed. Go for it!

I had a wonderful experience with this property and the property owners!!
Not that I’m proud of this, but I am most certainly a snob when it comes to any overnight accommodations. I’m rarely truly satisfied with any place (Hotel, resort, Vrbo type, etc) but this place... it was somewhere I would actually enjoy living full time. I could have just moved in here and been so very happy. I was beyond satisfied.
It was beautiful and clean, perfectly appointed and comfortable. It was lovely in every way. The owners went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for me and my little girl. (And visitors) My daughter loved it here as well.
And the beach... whaaaaat.... it literally is right there. Like you don’t even need to bother throwing on a cover-up. That’s how close it is. You can run back to the villa, to grab something on a whim, and it’s not at all inconvenient. It’s surprisingly close.
All of the linens and bedding were super comfortable and plush, not worn or cheap. The kitchen is so clean and stocked with quality items, items you would choose for your own home. The washer and dryer were modern and worked perfectly. The showers were clean and modern as well. The floors were new and well kept. The furnishings were comfortable, not worn, and just really pretty. The ac was quick to cool and easy to get just right. No waiting for cold air or hot water. (I’m just trying to list all the things that are important to me because I heavily rely on reviews when deciding on a place.)
This was an amazing experience. If I were not a single mom, I would have stayed much longer. It was perfect for us. I am so grateful to these owners for going above and beyond to make their place, and our experience, far exceed my expectations.

We have stayed on Kiawah several times, but this was our first at this condo. I cannot say enough about it! It was spotless clean, super comfortable, and well stocked with supplies. The owners are wonderful! They even thought of the perfect welcome gift for our 13 year old son. Steps from the beach is an added bonus! Thank you for a wonderful trip. We will definitely be back!

Robert and Marisa are the perfect hosts and I wish they owned property everywhere because I would feel at ease renting only from them ever again. Robert was quick to respond any time I had a question and was proactive in letting me know any changes that popped up. For example, the water dispenser on the refrigerator was acting up, and my daughters and I would have been perfectly fine drinking tap water with ice. Instead of waiting to ask us if we minded drinking tap water, however, Robert left a brand new Brita filtered water pitcher for us to use to keep cold water ready and waiting in the refrigerator. This was such a special touch and was much appreciated. The villa was absolutely gorgeous and matched the online photos perfectly. In fact, I should say that the villa in “person” was even more breathtaking than the photos. We felt instantly at home and we enjoyed staying at the villa as much as we enjoyed exploring Kiawah. We truly felt like the villa embodied how a beach home should be. We can’t wait to come back!

Robert and Marisa were absolutely the most fantastic hosts we've ever dealt with on VRBO! Their prompt responses and thorough communication prior to and during the stay were so appreciated. The property was super clean, organized, comfortable and well stocked with anything we may need during the stay. They have a great attention to detail and left information regarding area recommendations and contact information for any vendor we may have wanted to reach while onsite. This property will not disappoint with it's location!! We have stayed in the Windswept community at Kiawah 5 other times but this condo was the best because it is centrally located with steps to the beach via our own stairs to the boardwalk and is so easy for unloading/loading. The furnishings and decor have been updated and everything was super cozy! Robert and Marisa were wonderfully hospitable and thought of very kind personal touches to make our stay special as we celebrated my daughter's birthday and our anniversary. Visitors will not be disappointed with this property!!

My family has been renting on VRBO for years and this was the best experience we’ve ever had. From the start, it was evident that the owners, Robert and Marisa Epps, were truly concerned about accommodating our needs. Unlike several other VRBO owners, the Epps treated us like family - and they made sure that our stay was as pleasant as it would be if we truly were their family! Their communication was top notch, the cleanliness of the unit was stellar and the location couldn’t be beat. The accessibility made it easy for our children (14 and 11) to travel back and forth to the beach without my husband and I worrying about them having to walk too far. They even left us some nice surprises upon our arrival - fresh flowers, and other treats for the kids. It was amazing! We truly cannot say enough good things about this property and the Epps family. Lastly, if you’re concerned about the size of the second bedroom, while it was admittedly on the smaller size, my children didn’t complain one bit - in fact, they ended up spending more time together in that room and had a blast. I cannot recommend this property or the Epps highly enough! Their hospitality, graciousness and genuine kindness are the “small things” that place this property and the Epps family head and shoulders above the others!

We had a wonderful stay here! This condo is on the ground floor and has its own private easy access to the boardwalk that leads directly to the beach. So convenient and easy! The condo was immaculately clean. The decor is warm, trendy, new, and lovely. The kitchen had just what we needed to make our dinners and everything in it felt new and purchased for the condo. It felt like our arrival was anticipated and special. Just to note: we are a family of four. The master has a king, however the second bedroom is a small bunk room. Our boys are teenagers and one of our sons is 6 feet. He didn’t really fit on the bunk bed ;) so we used the pullout oversized chair in the family room. We would 100% stay here again. My favorite spot was the small sectional on the back patio for reading and enjoying the ocean breeze. Fabulous stay with excellent hosts who didn’t bother us but were very available and responsive.

They were extremely communicative and made sure we had all of the information we needed to make the most of our short stay. This is not a knock on the Owner's..... but how do you build a condo complex and NOT have any closets in the unit. The Owner's did the best they could by utilizing a small armoir in the Master but thats it for closet space. This unit is very nicely furnished. It has two small but extremely nice bathrooms. Also, the second bedroom is nothing more than a closet with bunk beds. Its OK for kids but two adults would really be cramped for space. Great access to the beach as it is really right out the back door.

Unit was disappointing compared to our prior stays on Kiawah and also at Windswept. Bed was uncomfortable, furnishings in LR: sofa and one chair. No access to pool. For the rental/night, we paid for convenience walk to beach. Would encourage more details be shared on exactly what is included for price. Thank you.
