Nestled in Tempe, this lovely house for $161 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Minutes away from downtown Tempe/ASU, less than 20 min away from Old Town Scottsdale and less than 15 min from the airport, your home away from home is centrally located on the 17th green of Ken McDonald Golf Course. The home is just steps from Kiwanis Park which offers: soccer fields, batting cages, baseball fields, rec center, wave pool, lap pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, splash pad, 2 large playgrounds, large pond, paddle boats, fishing, and more. A short walk to the Western Canal Path where you can enjoy a stroll or bike ride along the several trails adjacent to canals in the Phoenix metropolitan area, connecting the cities of Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa and Gilbert on its more than 20 mile, east–west route. The home itself features a large open living area, spacious bedrooms, 65” flat screen Smart TV with cable in living room , 39" flat screen Smart TV in master bedroom, ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms & living room, new furnishings throughout, a large covered patio and a HEATED pool (heated at an ADDITIONAL COST). You are provided with high speed wireless internet, Cable TV and Netflix. The fully furnished kitchen includes: coffee pot, pots/pans, crockpot, toaster, blender, cutting board, storage containers, cookie sheets, baking dishes, knives, measuring cups/spoons, pitchers, serving containers, wine opener, colander, pie pan, numerous kitchen utensils, and much more. There is ample countertop space to prepare meals. The large master bedroom contains a king sized memory foam mattress, plenty of dresser & closet space, a TV, a ceiling fan and a door leading to the back covered patio which looks out onto the golf course. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for family trip. Toys, high chair, play pen were great for travelling with a baby. Also close proximity to Kiwanis Park which had a fun playground for kids! Host was very accommodating and let us have a late checkout due to cancelled flights.

The house is well maintained, very comfortable and the entire property very user-friendly. The kitchen was stocked with everything anyone needs for any length of stay. We are cooks and it was wonderful to have decent cookware and utensils provided to meet all our needs. Although some other properties had construction going on the neighborhood would otherwise be very quiet day and night. The back yard borders a golf course, and the pool and covered patio provided an excellent outdoor space that we greatly enjoyed. Highly recommend for parties of 4 or more and we will definitely try to reserve again when returning to the Phoenix area.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The home is a perfect vacation rental. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet! Great communication with the owner, and they have thought of everything to make this a relaxing home rental experience. My kids (6 and 11) loved the pool, and all of us enjoyed dining outside on the spacious covered patio. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe, even walking back from the park after sunset. This location is awesome as well! The Kiwanis park across the street was perfect evening entertainment for the kids, and they always had other kids to play with. Tempe Pickleball courts are about 3 miles away. It is close to South Mountain Park, and I highly recommend the McCormick Stillman Railroad park in Scottsdale. Papago state park and McDowell Sonoran Desert preserve is great for hikes. It is also a short trip to and from the airport. There are great restaurants in the area, and I recommend walking to The Whole Scoop for ice cream. This is a great vacation home, and we appreciated being able to use it for our vacation.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was the perfect location to do all the sightseeing and hiking. The outdoor space was very nice with a pool and a covered patio that we enjoyed having breakfast on.

Perfect vacation spot in Tempe
I have zero complaints. Check in and communication was very easy. The house was perfect. Spacious, clean, and above and beyond as far as amenities. I’d recommend stopping there before doing your grocery shopping as a lot is already on hand (paper towels, tp, etc.). The location is great, close to everything but still tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice and spacious patio and the pool made for some great breaks.

The house provided everything we needed for a short stay for a family wedding. The pool and covered patio were used a lot. The hosts responded quickly when an issue came up and followed through to make sure our stay was great. The location was convenient for eating out and the kitchen was well stocked for dining in. Very pleased with our stay here! Pool was great, home was clean and well equipped for all our needs! Rented a boat at Pleasant Lake for the day which was awesome, shopped at Scottsdale Mall and hit top golf! Great location, owners very responsive and available…. We will definitely be returning!!!
