The hostel is a beautifully designed property tucked away in a quiet residential area, with a lovely creative and intimate atmosphere.
A special mention goes to Key, who was exceptionally friendly, helpful and understanding throughout my stay. When I found my initial room uncomfortable, she went out of her way to help, even allowing me to rest on the sofa at reception and arranging another room for the following five nights.
The Banyan Tree Room was a complete game changer. It was spacious, comfortable and much better suited to a longer stay. I also really enjoyed the sweets and coffee available in the common area, as well as the friendly conversations with Key.
The warmth and hospitality of the staff, particularly Key, made a very positive difference to my overall experience.
I initially booked the “Economy Room”, described as the “Fairytale Room”, but unfortunately I found the room quite disappointing. The name “Fairytale Room” did not really correspond to the actual experience, and the space felt more like an unfinished design concept than a comfortable guest room.
The WC required a more thorough cleaning, and I was surprised to find that the sleeping arrangement was essentially a mattress on the floor with a tatami mat. The ceiling above the sleeping area was extremely low — approximately 1.5 metres — and this space was actually located directly underneath the WC of the room above.
I tried to rest there for a couple of hours in the afternoon, but found it very uncomfortable and difficult to relax.
I would recommend being much more transparent in the room description and photographs about the extremely low ceiling, floor-level sleeping arrangement and the unusual layout. This would help guests understand exactly what to expect before booking.
Although I eventually moved to the much more comfortable Banyan Tree Room, I had to pay roughly double the price again. The difference in comfort was significant, so I would suggest reviewing the Economy/Fairytale Room to ensure that it offers an experience that matches the expectations created by the property’s branding.

ソウル市内で一泊4000円程度で完全な個室は中々ありません。
寝室の天井が1メートル程度と低く、最初はビックリしましたが、清掃はしっかりしてあって、寝るには問題ありません。滞在費を安く抑えて、睡眠は快適に取りたい自分にはピッタリでした。
寝室部分の天井が1メートルくらいしかありませんが、それも安さとトレードオフだと考えました。
