The location was excellent, feel like staying in the forest. The property has a nice surrounding as it is in a cardamom plantation.
Shortage of maintenance & need to be more clean , repairs needed in the toilets fixtures . The hotel restaurant need improvements.

The location was lovey with short walk to the river over the road and in really close proximity to Periya National Park. One of the staff, Robin, was particularly helpful in organising safari jeep rides and other activities (although, they turned out to be more expensive that we anticipated).
We have very specific dietary requirements which they were able to cater for as we were the only guests staying at the time.
Robin was very friendly and gave us a tour of the property and spice gardens attached/ if it wasn’t for him I don’t think we would have enjoyed our stay.
Staff were very quiet and the receptionist was not particularly welcoming when we first arrived. Considering the remote location, he didn’t offer any advice on what to do in the local area or how to get around. My friend’s room was wet all over the floor so had to ask for a different room, but they did give them a free upgrade. Although they could provide food for our specific diets, it turned out to be over priced. We were asked to pay in cash when settling the bill at checkout which but could not give us change so ended up getting charged for something that we thought we had paid for already.
