About this house rental
Sky Cove is a beautiful new private beachfront estate on the calm Caribbean side of Eleuthera, near famous Ten Bay Beach. Sky Cove's private beach is located on a secluded cove perfect for swimming, SPECTACULAR SNORKELING, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, and mooring your boat! This spectacular property was used by Venus swimwear for the photo shoot for their summer 2020 catalog.
Overlooking this lovely beach and cove is a 50-foot ocean-view infinity pool with a Baja shelf for lounging. The pool is surrounded by a deck with sweeping ocean views, furnished for lounging and dining. A fire pit for evening entertainment awaits. Beside the pool is bocce ball court! The pool can be heated for $500 per week.
We just upgraded to Starlink for faster and more reliable internet!
NOTE: As of April 2026, a new house is under construction on the opposite side of the cove from Sky Cove. It's far enough away that noise has not been an issue, but it is plainly visible.
Inside, a marble-tiled foyer with a powder room and a stairway taking you up to the main level. At the top of the stairs you encounter the most spectacular room on the island, a living room of glass with 270° views of Eleuthera and the sea through floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. This room is furnished for both lounging and dining and has an adjacent secondary guest kitchen. Past this room are four king-bed master suites with full en-suite baths and spectacular ocean views through walls of glass. Each suite has its own entrance from the balcony that runs the full length of the second floor. These four rooms can also connect internally if needed.
Continuing up the stairs from the glass living room takes you to the upper sky deck, a large room furnished with a sectional sofa and chairs and a flat screen TV and offering panoramic views of sea and island. The sectional sofa folds out into two single beds. There are also two inflatable beds (1 double and 1 single) which can be set up in this room, so it can be used as a sleeping loft (the 7th bedroom) for up to 5 guests. It can also be used as a media room or lounge.
From this room, step out onto Sky Cove's incredible roof deck. (This door has a child-proof lock for security.) This glass walled roof deck, perched high above the trees, offers 360-degree views of sea, beach, and island. Luxuriously furnished with lounge seating this is the best spot on the island to enjoy a beverage and watch the sun rise and set.
Sky Cove has two additional master bedroom suites, the "bungalows", which are detached from the main house for ultimate privacy. Each suite has a king bed, full bath, and spectacular ocean views through a wall of glass. The bungalows are included for groups of more than 8 guests.
In addition to the kitchen mentioned above, Sky Cove has a primary extra-large caterer's kitchen with a separate entrance. This kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, washer/dryer, two full-size refrigerator/freezers, eat-in breakfast bar, beverage bar, and a dining area that seats eight. Adjacent to the caterer's kitchen is a gas BBQ area with a large outdoor dining area that seats 12 to 16.
Amenities at Sky Cove including WIFI, smart TVs (but no cable), AC throughout, back-up generator, pool, kayaks, paddle boards, water rafts, bocci balls, and volleyball net.

Sky Cove is located less than 5 minutes from the town of Savannah Sound which has the acclaimed Fishbone Bar and Grill waterfront restaurant, and new grocery store Midway Cost Cutters.
The town of Palmetto Point is less than 10 minutes away, with additional stores and restaurants.
The main town, Governors Harbour, is 15 minutes away and has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, a bank with an ATM, bakeries, gift shops, and a dive shop. It has a collection of 19th century homes. You can buy fresh fish at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals.

Wonderful home. The breeze through over the pool was wonderful. The no-see-ums were irritating but the breezeway kept them mostly away. We had 12 adults, and the bedrooms are set up nicely as individual master suites. The lagoon has very good snorkeling. Clouds of minnows, some coral fish, barracuda, turtle and 2 small sharks were seen. Snorkel under the overhangs at low tide and at high tide check out the mangroves. The kayaks and paddle boards were greatly appreciated. Erin the gold crested night heron visited us every day. The house is on google maps so easy to find. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 washer dryers. Had a great time.

Our stay at Sky Cove was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a uniquely private location, it truly felt like we were on our own private island—completely secluded, yet comfortably close to everything we needed. The setting is so serene and peaceful, with views so breathtaking we found ourselves constantly just sitting and soaking it all in.
The amenities at Sky Cove struck the perfect balance, allowing us to be as active or as relaxed as we wanted. The kayaks and paddleboards were a hit with everyone in our group, offering the perfect way to explore the beautiful waters right outside the door.
To elevate our experience even further, we hired a private chef and a mobile bar service—both of whom raved about how well-equipped the house is. Everything they needed was already there, making it easy for them to deliver top-notch service in such a remote-feeling location.
Being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour was also a huge plus. Whether we needed to stock up on groceries or felt like venturing out for a local dinner, everything was conveniently within reach without sacrificing the peaceful isolation we loved so much.
If we had one suggestion, it would be to consider updating the living room furniture, as it's starting to show some wear. That said, it didn't take away from our experience in the slightest.
This was, without question, our most relaxing vacation ever. Sky Cove is a very special piece of paradise, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. We're already dreaming of our return.

The house and amenities were really cool, but some of the photos were a little misleading. The overall experience was good with a few things lacking. For example, the water pressure and temperatures with the showers were limited. The bungalows and furthest two top floors showers had minimal pressure and would get little, to no, hot water in the showers. The master chef kitchen had an ant infestation and we'd spend 30 or so minutes every morning killing and cleaning up the ants. All the refrigerators have a really bad fish smell. We tried to clean them with soap and water but the smell still lingered, and tainted all of our food and beverages with fish taste and smell. Assuming this came from the previous guest, but unknown if that is the case. Either way, it was gross. The generator didn't work. Maintenance came out to check the battery and propane but they said the generator itself had an issue that they couldn't fix themselves and would have to reach out to the owner. A big positive was that the water toys were in good shape. This has not been the case with other houses we've rented on the island. Lastly, the grill is rotted and cannot be used. Outside of those items, we all had a great vacation with great weather. :)
