You absolutely get what you pay for, if not more.
The place is simple but it has everything you need and it’s clean, with not too many mosquitoes because of the nice breeze that blows all day long.
The view is amazing and it’s really quiet, with the access of a private cute beach near to a very interesting snorkling area.
You can also order food (tasty, healthy and home made) for good prices or walking to the restaurant nearby which is slightly more expensive. They also rent motorbikes for cheap prices. The family is nice and they provide everything you need.
We spent there 12 days while I had to study and we had an amazing stay.
There’s absolutely nothing to complain about for this price.
Yes, it’s simple, yes sometimes the electricity goes off (for max 20/30 min) and food takes some time (btw, you can order it in advance and the problem is solved).
I have the feeling that anyone who has any complaints is the kind of person who doesn’t know how to function in the world—someone who expects luxury standards but has no intention of paying for them.

I really enjoyed staying here. It’s peaceful, tranquil, and far from crowded tourist areas like Tubod. The hostel is located in the countryside, so the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing, and you can experience authentic local life instead of a heavily touristy environment.
The property also has access to a private beach, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hostel managers offer delicious food at reasonable prices, which was very convenient since the area is more rural.
Another big advantage is the location near Sandugan Sanctuary, which I considered one of the best sanctuaries in Siquijor. Personally, I much preferred staying here compared to the busier tourist areas.
Some amenities need improvement, and the owner should also add more hammocks.

It was very limited choices.Location is good if one is looking for isolated spot. There was no decent clean beach for swimming even though the property is right by the water. Beach area needs serious daily maintenance. The property itself for the most part has lots of plants and flowers.
I didn't realized upon making reservations for 10 days that the property was far from anything. You have to walk to the road to catch a tricycle to go into town of Larena if you need groceries, eating spots, supplies.
