Great location, easy walk from the train station, staff was very helpful, breakfast was very good
As other reviewers mention, the stairs are quite steep and narrow but slow going with luggage was fine.

Great location close to both the station and the town centre.
Room was overlooking the bridge/street, great view. Very spacious, large lounge area and bathroom.
Breakfast was pretty decent, standard fare but I enjoyed it.
Breakfast room/lounge was nicely decorated and comfortable.
Really smiley and friendly girl on reception.
Felt very traditional.
Room wasn't exactly as clean as it might have been.
Disappointed that the only spirit on the drinks menu wasn't available when I tried to order it. Menu is limited and could be expanded.
Charging 5 Euros to store baggage for the day following check-out feels like it's taking advantage of guests, particularly when it's not being stored in a secure area.

We had a canal view room (10) which made the stay for us. Fantastic central location convenient for everything. Vey Hardworking breakfast staff.
The decor and furnishings very tired and worn. Very steep steps up to rooms - very Dutch - but s bit of a challenge for oldies with luggage. Breakfast buffet not bad but would have appreciated a prepared fruit salad. Check in was strangely unwelcoming.
