Ideal Hotel for some Rest and Relaxation

We absolutely adored the Art Deco style of the hotel, which gave it a unique and charming ambiance. The quick check-in process was a pleasant surprise and set the tone for a wonderful stay. We felt incredibly lucky to be upgraded to the newly renovated rooms, which not only provided ample space but also offered a nice sea view, despite being situated on a lower level. The large room with a balcony quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy a cup of green tea, whether in the morning or during the evening, as we soaked in the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was a delightful experience as well, with the breakfast area conveniently located next to the poolside, providing a calming and serene view. The spread of dishes was impressive, and the kitchen staff did an excellent job ensuring that all items were well stocked. One particular highlight was the efficiency of a young man, whose name we unfortunately forgot, as he diligently turned around the tables, ensuring that all guests were promptly accommodated. We also can't stop raving about the poolside bar's talented bartender, who whipped up some of the most amazing bloody Mary's we've ever had. It added an extra touch of enjoyment to our time by the pool. Overall, our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel's Art Deco charm, the newly renovated room with a sea view, the refreshing green tea moments, and the memorable breakfast experience all contributed to a truly enjoyable vacation. We would gladly return to this hotel for future visits.

While the hotel's location is a bit far from Split Old Town, we found that Uber services were readily available and provided a convenient solution for transportation, despite the sometimes crazy traffic. One minor inconvenience was the restricted pool time in the evening, due to its proximity to the outdoor dining area. However, the staff was accommodating and understanding of our needs. On one occasion, they kindly extended the pool time by an hour, which we truly appreciated, especially as we were a group of 7 people. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel staff was attentive and considerate, making an effort to ensure our comfort during our stay. With the availability of Uber rides, we were able to explore the city easily, and the relaxing poolside experience was made all the more enjoyable with the staff's flexibility. If you don't mind a short ride to Split Old Town and are looking for a hotel with a considerate and helpful staff, this hotel could be a great option for your stay.

Nice view from the pool, nice and friendly stzff, good food, nice swimming pool, close to sea shore

Room view on the parking in stead of garden view. Room were a bit out dated, but spacious and clean. Price is quite high.

Best hotel

The views were breath taking, it was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice with a good selection ,the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in and best hotel and location we've ever stayed in, we did not want to leave. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Very good accommodation

We like the indoor pool, size of the room, our room upgraded to see giew. We enjoyed half board.

There was no facilities to make a cup of tea, kettles are not provided in the rooms .

Perfect service, great location, good food

What a fantastic stay! Honestly couldn’t have wanted anything better. The hotel was clean, the staff were beyond exceptional and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. Big shout out to Matco the manager, the cleaners and breakfast staff. The location (Podstrana) is also great. The beach is clear and the area is very well looked after. The restaurant at the hotel was also really nice (I recommend the fish!) Overall, my two friends and I are very satisfied and are planning to come again.

Great small hotel at Podstranda.

Small hotel with friendly staff, only 10 kms from Split city centre. Free parking just outside the hotel. We had a nice large room with see views. Quiet and relaxing at the hotel. Great quality breakfast and dining possibilities at the hotel. Beach, bars, restaurants and more in short walking distance from the hotel.

Sauna out of order during our 7 night stay.

Look elsewhere, for $200/night you can do a lot better

location

AC was not working, mosquitoes in the room, Sauna not working, loud guest kept us up all night. when we requested front desk Nicolina she said they will fix next day and cannot do anything about loud hotel guests. I own an choice franchise in US and this would never fly, poor service even for Croatian standards avoid at all costs.

A lovely boutique hotel on the beach

It is beautifully located with stunning views of the sea. On the beach! Very clean. Good sized rooms. Amazingly helpful staff

We were there for 6 days and the spa facilities were out of order throughout our stay. The hotel is advertised as”spa and wellness” and charges include the use of sauna, Steam spa and heated indoor pool. As a family we booked it to enjoy the spa experience. If the facilities are not available for use, they should offer a discount to compensate that. The charges seemed not good value for our money.

the customer service was excellent . it was my husbands birthday and they really supported us . we ate in the Hotel for the first night and it was very good . the 2nd night they recommended and booked a restaurant for us in Split and it was excellent . I would certainly recommend this boutique hotel to others .

very clean and modern

the only thing we didn’t like was that we were half board which meant we had a much smaller choice of menu to choose from. The other guests were given the A La carte menu, but not once were we told we could order from the better menu by paying a supplement.

Lovely small hotel.

Beautiful small & quiet hotel with fabulous views. Great sunbeds & a very clean pool. Rooms are very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Would definitely return.

Breakfast is adequate but if you're not down early you miss some hot food. There is a bus into Split but it takes about 30-40 mins & taxis r exceptionally expensive. Only complaint about the room is the wardrobe is very small, kept our clothes in the cases.

Very good staff and comfy beds. We were also very excited of the view!

The only “complaint” is that the building has very thin walls which meant we didn’t get much sleep when the other guests were awake late in the night. We also left very early and would have appreciated a breakfast bag to go since we didn’t make the breakfast.

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff but disappointed with the location

Really disappointed with the location...busy road dangerous to cross and disappointed with surrounding area of Podstrana No centre and area was shabby A little disappointed with the small balcony. Other rooms had a larger balcony

relaxing, comfortable, just a little too far from Split

The staff were excellent, friendly and always very helpful, Emma on the bar/restaurant was always very chatty and helpful. and would bring our drinks to us to save us waiting at the bar. Reception staff were able to give advise and were helpful food in the hotel was great and freshly made

no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, lunch menu was very limited and never changed. The swimming pool was very cold

Nice hotel.

The pool and area was lovely and relaxing. The bar at the pool provided a good selection of drinks. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of foods. The room was cosy and newly renovated. It was not located in the main hotel but it was perfect distance from the pool. The air conditioning was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was decorated nicely and the shower was great. We ate dinner the evening before we flew home and it was tasty.

It was perfect for the two nights that we stayed for. The area is quiet so if we were to stay longer, we would need a car to travel around. It would be a lovely adults only hotel.
