Nice staff at reception, breakfast with a great view from the 10th floor. Near pedestrian street and many cafes/restaurants, a park with a fountain, and the river Daugava within walking distance. Stayed only one night but received a very warm welcome. If you come by car, parking is possible in front of the hotel.
The pillow was too small and too bouncy for me, but it depends on what type of pillow you like :)

Location is excellent!
About Breakfest -
- choice was very poor :(,
- table wear was not clean unfortunately,
- Wessel for bread was dirty.
About room-
- ear ventilation not function
- window opening option is too narrow, can not get ear enough in
- room was on nearby roof side- their are a lot of conditioning systems on- and sound is very hight from them
