Pleasantly surprised by my stay

The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was good in the morning. I liked the brand of toiletries in the bathroom too.

Some aspects of the room felt a little tired, but it was very clean

Interior by our room wasn’t great, tv didn’t work and room just very dated and needs doing up

It met our needs and we would stay again.

Room was fairly standard but breakfast was especially good. Restaurant and bar was fine and the chap on the front desk when we checked in was excellent.

Nothing specifically that I didn't like other than perhaps the very long walk through the building to our room. It probably wasn't but it felt like miles with lots of twists and turns.

Well worth a visit.

The room was clean with plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the Breakfast was excellent. The STAFF were very friendly and polite.We plan to return later this year on our journey from Ireland.

The hotel was very clean the staff were polite I messed up the booking by not stating my partner was disabled in walking to far the lady who served us gave us our room number and we proceeded not knowing it was at the other end of the hotel when got there my partner was scattered and in pain so I went back to reception were a young gentleman was there were he gave us a room near to the entrance straight away so please state when booking a room if any disability’s other than that excellent stay.

Comfortable overnight stay

Chose for the location for a work Xmas party elsewhere, east access off the M6

The charge for breakfast which is why we didn’t have it. £16.95 is a bit steep

Room and restaurant were nice. Location was great.

Room service didn’t seem to be an option?! No one answered the phone and no menu or app to scan in the room.

Kids in the reception and bar were pound messy and noisy all day for both days and parents let them run wild

Passable for one night.

Room tired could do with refurb. Very hot had to keep window open to cool it down. Sofa bed not made up and uncomfortable.

Perfect stop off.

Staff were amazingly helpful. Kids meals free was great. Pool was lovely. Rooms were comfy. Great location for Alton Towers and motorway.

Good stay overall but shower needs fixing!!

The hotel is in an ideal location. The room was comfortable although only a short night!! The check in was very quick & very friendly staff.

The only negative was the shower which had no pressure & was going hot & then cold!!!

Lovely family stay

The staff was amazing with my sons 4 and 1 and always smiling and making conversation. Also I feel that the breakfast and diner deal is value for money and delicious.

Disappointing

Man at reception was very kind and helpful Hotel was easdy to find

The room didn't smell very nice. A mixture of drains and VERY strong cleaning products. A bit run down. Wardrobe with missing door.

Loved the staff. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Room was quiet and clean. Building and interior needs refreshed and updated

The staff were so lovely and helpful. They really made a fuss of my daughter and made us feel very welcome. Dylan, Ishima and the lovely man in reception, I didn’t get his name but he was very helpful.

The building looks like it needs some TLC. The rooms are clean but the decor is tired looking and the paint needs refreshed. The jacuzzi in the swimming pool was out of order the whole time we were there and I was so looking forward to using it but just bad luck I suppose.

Great stay, would highly recommend.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. They were so good with the kids. Rooms clean and spacious enough for the family. Great they had a pool and nice changing rooms. Was very impressed kids ate free with any adult meal, was very helpful. kids corner was great at reception.

I think it was just in need of a bit of modernising. There was an ant crawled across the breakfast table one morning.

A very pleasant stay very relaxed with swimming pool will definitely stay again.

The carpets were all new. Food was quick and hot plenty if choice. Everywhere was clean. Staff could not have done more.

First appearance the building looks a little jaded from outside. But carpark was well maintained and free of weeds. The gardens seemed well maintained.

Convenient short stop off

Location was excellent and made perfect stop off point. Staff were very efficient

Breakfast was disappointing. Although plenty of choice hot food was like rubber after being kept warm too long. Water pressure in room was poor and made shower virtually unusable

We would return - first experience was a very good one

The room was great - lamp in room needed new bulb but we were only stopping one evening Breakfast was a good choice well cooked We had a n evening meal and the staff were very good at ensuring we were satisfied Staff on reception when we arrived were brilliant

view was poor - looking at waste bins! Didn't bother us too much
