It was immaculate and the hosts so helpful
As we were severely delayed. However you do need to be aware that this is a traditional Portuguese hotel and people might find it dated but you have everything you need and everything is spotless

The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. My flight landed at 9:30 PM, which was past their 9:00 PM check-in limit. I forgot to inform them in advance, but when I called upon landing, they reassured me and waited to let me in. The bedroom was a great, spacious size, and the surrounding garden is beautiful and filled with lovely trees. They also offer a very cheap breakfast for just €3 per adult, and kids eat for free.
The hotel is very simple and only provides the absolute basics. The bathroom is also quite old and could use an update.

Our flight was cancelled, so we stayed at Golda Sol for two nights to catch the next flight. The hosts were very welcoming and did their best to provide us with good service. The hotel has a swimming pool and a garden. Also, there is a large shopping centre about 20 minutes walk away.
The hotel is quite old and it needs renovation. There was a rather musty smell in the room, so we kept windows open all night. The room had air conditioning and a TV. The shower was very narrow and it had a broken tap, so we need to use it carefully. Breakfast was quite edible and included in the price (croissants, ham, cheese, coffee machine, flakes, etc.). The corridors reminded a Catholic pilgrimage home - there were many images and statues of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, Padre Pio and Saint Anthony. I felt a little awkward playing pool on the ground floor next Padre Pio altar, but we enjoyed reading on sunbeds next to the swimming pool in the garden.
