Exceptional

We liked it enough to stay an extra 5 nights. Loved the pool, lots to see localy plus a good supermarket. Staff really friendly & helpful.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Excellent swimmimg pools one outdoors and one indoors . The outdoor pool was very clean and no chlorine used .

Some entertainment in the restaurant area would help complete an excellent holiday venue .

minimalist chilled out / camping type vibes

great pools and set up next to the lake. Lots of families there. very clean and good set up apartments

one user Wi-Fi really annoying. snack bar never open and very rarely see a member of staff. there’s nothing much open near by to be honest, you’ll be hard pushed to find a float or an ice cream! and forget about glamorous dinners near by unless you’re travelling to them - the vibe is super chill self catering

Great for a relaxing break

Great peaceful site in the middle of nature and backing onto the beach and lake. Spacious and modern accomodation with well maintained grounds. Lovely outdoor and indoor pool areas. The English speaking receptionist was very helpful.

Despite being June the bar and snack bar were both shut. A little dissapointing as there wasn't much else available within walking distance. The apartment we stayed in was nice but lacking simple basics like hand soap and salt and pepper etc. Also we were only allocated 1 bath towel each for a 5 day stay. There was no washing machine in the apartment and we were changed an extra 5 euro each for additional towels when requested which we weren't aware of.

Very good

Location was very good by the lake and for visiting other places. Apartment was clean, well planned, comfortable and practical.

Connection was poor - only one apparatus could be connected.

A pleasant site but the experience could be better.

The apartment although compact was clean , quiet and quite well equipped including a dishwasher. The indoor pool was lovely and warm and clean. The outdoor pool was also very nice. The whole park was well kept. Wifi for one device was free. Access to the beach was very close. Nice little terrace for sitting outside.

At check-in I was given a sack of clean bedding and towels. If I am paying for a decent holiday I do NOT expect to have to make the bed up. I have never been asked to do this before. Not happy. Worse was to follow. At the end of the first week I asked for replacements for the second week. I was told that this was not offered . I was appalled. I had a problem swapping wifi from one device to another. The reception staff tried hard to help by giving extra access numbers but it proved to be useless. In the end I gave up and just used my phone which was not what I wanted as I had planned to use my laptop as well as my kindles. Disappointed. The footbaths were very cold and slippery. My husband, who is disabled, wanted to watch me swim found the footbaths very difficult. As we had a car we were able to drive into the little town which was fortunate as there was no shop or cafe facilities on site. I know it was low season but if you are open for business , you are open, even if with a reduced range. Lovely postcards, pity no stamps. Four pillows were provided. A notice said we must not use them without covers. Only two covers provided ??? I was not impressed by the inside of the wardrobe. I do not usually hang my clothes in amongst bucket, bowls and mops. No sun loungers supplied for the small apartments although the cottages seemed to have them

Pleasant stay in beautiful location.

Nice modern clean rooms, great location and facilities.

Lacked some basic amenities. No soap, no toiletries, only one roll of toilet paper, nothing for the dishwasher etc. Only thing provided was one small sachet of washing up liquid.

Nice and calm

Very confortable stay, relaxed atmosphere, nice lake beach, nice pool, lovely Biscarrosse beach in 25min deive.

The apartment floor could had been cleaner, we had to do It ourselves as our feet got black soon :)

Perfect family holiday, we love this place

We’ve stayed here 4 times now. Absolutely love the site and surrounding area. the pool and lake are perfect for a holiday with kids.

The toilet smelled terrible despite us cleaning it on arrival

Ideal location, great all-rounder.

Layout, facilities and easy access to the ocean, the lake and a whole lot of other activities. Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Lakeside lodge relax and enjoy the outdoors

Well equipped lodges fantastic location very good access to the lakes walks and local restaurants. Great swimming pool area for all the family including a large heated pool. Staff very helpful and welcoming.

The poolside restaurant currently has a very limited menu and it and the var were not open regularly.

Superb

Apartment very comfortable and clean. Bed very comfortable. Calm, clean facilities. Nice swimming pool, just next to the lake. Could order bread in the morning in the reception (for 9h, not before).

The restaurant was very simple. End if August there was no ice cream... In the kitchen some extra utensils would be useful, like a plate to cut vegetables, etc...

Superb

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a cottage at the lake, perfect location, great view. Wifi, also the paid version, is terrible, not close to good enough for the price of our stay. Everything else, great!

It has been out third time at Cottages and we would not hesitate to come back again. Beautiful location, very friendly staff, lovely accomodation and all of this reasonably priced. Thank you!

Nice, clean and friendly park with a great pool!

Nice pool, near lake with beach, dog friendly, park looks clean, friendly staff, nice bar for snacks, drinks and pizza's. Easy car park, big balcony.Pretty quiet on the park, even though it was completely booked. Almost exclusively French guests, a few from Belgium and none Dutch (which we find OK)

Appartment small, beds VERY small! (2 person, 1.20!) Some things were old, broke. We think there has te be a renewal of furniture and kitchen supplies. You really need your car for everything. And on the way to other lakes and the coast there are traffic jams.

Great location, very nice chalet.

The location was key for us and the chalet ticked all the boxes. Pool was lovely, never too busy and very clean. We had chips from the takeaway a couple of times, perfect. Our chalet was close to the lake. The lake is fabulous

Room was a little bit small but still comfortable. Could do with mirrors in the bedroom.
