La posizione fronte mare è ottima, a circa 2 km dal centro storico ma in una zona servita da lidi (il Balmor proprio di fronte all'hotel è il mio preferito) e ristoranti di alta qualità! L'hotel si distingue per un buffet della colazione molto ricco, soprattutto per la varietà di dolci e brioche, deliziose! La piscina è grande, negli orari in cui mi sono goduta un bagno rinfrescante era poco frequentata ed è stato molto rilassante. La camera con balcone vista mare (e bagno vista mare) che ci hanno gentilmente assegnato come upgrade è stata una piacevole sorpresa.
Di solito scelgo hotel moderni ma l'Universal ha la sua atmosfera. Ritorno a distanza di anni (la prima volta nel 2008... poi nel 2019... ora nel 2026) ed è sempre una rassicurante conferma. Mantiene lo stile del classico Grand Hotel di un tempo ed io apprezzo sempre di più l'eleganza sobria e intramontabile che riesce a conservare. Ogni volta che torno a Cervia è all'Universal!

Come raccontano le foto che tappezzano alcune pareti, dove si evince il livello , avendo ospitato persone di un certo calibro come il nostro ex capo di stato, la struttura ahimè è ferma a quel tempo. Vecchia
