The hotel has a stylish concept and a nice overall atmosphere. The food was also very good. Breakfast had a relatively small but nice variety, and most of what we tried tasted very good. We also ordered in-room dining and the food itself was excellent in terms of taste and quality.
Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay did not meet our expectations. The room was quite small, and we found the bathroom layout unusual and impractical, with the sink located separately in the main room and the toilet and shower in a very small enclosed space.
Our arrival also felt rather impersonal. There was no assistance with our luggage until I was at the elevator and the welcome at reception was not particularly warm or welcoming.
Housekeeping could have been much better. The toilet was not cleaned as thoroughly as we would expect, including inside of the toilet seat, and a small piece of rubbish on the floor was still there after the room had been serviced.
We were also surprised by the additional €5 charge simply to have an in-room dining order delivered to the room. The food itself was very good, but at this price point we felt the additional delivery charge was unnecessary.
