Summary: ARC DU SOLEIL was designed to experience outdoor living on St. John and perfectly emulates the Caribbean lifestyle. The beauty of the island's natural surroundings are the most prominent feature and enduring allure. An experience which can only be found in the tropics; one that brings the outdoors in, and entices you to become more in tune with nature. This is an experience that is unique to the islands. We cordially invite you to come, relax, and enjoy the Arc. The Space: True Caribbean open air living featuring magnificent native stone arches, framing the picture perfect view of the Caribbean sea for dramatic sunsets and star gazing. Polished concrete floors, a large and modern gourmet kitchen, master bath offers his and her vanities, and a soaking tub for unwinding after a fun filled day. Master bedroom with new Tempur-Pedic king bed, en-suite bath with soaking tub, and on open hanging area for cloths in the bathroom. There are two guest bedrooms with en-suite baths. One on the main floor with Tempur-Pedic king bed and one on the lower level with 2 twin beds that can be made into a King bed. Guest Access: The property Manager, BookVI, will greet you at the ferry or at the villa for check in. Specific arrangements will be made depending on your party size, arrival time, and familiarity with the island. The Neighborhood: With spacious decks, our large salt water pool, which is more gentle on your eyes, skin, and the environment, provides a perfect vantage point to enjoy the fabulous views of Great Cruz Bay Harbor, across the Pillsbury Sound to St. Thomas, on to other islands and Cays and the endless summer sunsets! On a clear day, you can easily see Vieques and even the mountains of Puerto Rico. Getting Around: We always suggest renting a 4x4 vehicle while on St. John. Please reach out to BookVI to inquire about villa vehicle availability or request assistance with vehicle rental. Other Things to Note: All guests of Arc Du Soleil will be provided Concierge Services. This property is professionally managed by BookVI.This property is adults only. No kids under the age of 16 are permitted. This property is a no smoking property and no pets are allowed. In addition, the owners do not allow events at this property. If you need an event space while you are here on St John, Please contact us and we can help go over options. Interaction with Guests: Arc Du Soleil is managed by BookVI, an island concierge service that is readily available to help with guests needs, whether it be dinner reservations, boat charters, or various gear for trips to the beach. There is also a property management service on-call for any maintenance needs.

Arc de Soleil was a beautiful home to stay at. The views are simply stunning and the pictures do not compare. We were close to Cruz Bay where many of the restaurants were and also near many of the beaches to visit. The host was great to work with and communicated well. If we were to return to St. John we would seriously consider coming back to this home.
There were five of us and we were very comfortable with the rooms and living space. Everyone enjoyed the open space and we spent a lot of time together there. The bar was stocked which was a nice surprise. There were good appliances and kitchen supplies. The bedrooms were comfortable and the AC was nice to have there.
The open concept and view was amazing for morning coffee, hanging around and dinners. We are on a tropical island so there were a lot of no see ums and mosquitos. Bring some bug spray.
There were also beach chairs, coolers, beach games and snorkel equipment for our many beach days all over the island. We used them a lot and appreciated having them to enjoy.
The service was excellent and they were in constant communication. We got a lot of questions answered and help with some excursions and a rental car. They made it easy which is not always the case with every VRBO.

Could not recommend this home any more! Everything was spotless and exactly as listed on VRBO, if not better. Well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, I could go on and on. The managing team was amazing and responded immediately to any concerns. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Arc du Soleil! The house was very nice and beautifully appointed. It had all of the amenities needed for cooking and going to the beach . The pool was gorgeous and the views were amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The property is breathtakingly beautiful. Coffee on the open air veranda followed by a dip in the pool are how we started every morning. We ended each evening in the pool! The house is well designed and perfect for 3 couples to comfortably spread out. The location is perfect (we used the car that was offered by the property and drove all over the island (from Cruz to Coral). The house was well supplied with amenities and very responsive to a lock/key issue (our fault) and an electric breaker issue (that was fixed immediately). This is my 3rd stay on the island and I will very likely stay at this property again. It was just THE BEST!

Our visit to St. John and our stay at Arc du Soleil could not have been more perfect. Brandon and the entire BookVI team did a fantastic job preparing the villa, meeting us at the ferry and welcoming us to the home, and assisting with any questions we had while on the island. We’ve stayed in a dozen villas on St. John, and this experience and villa are hands down the best we’ve had. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you all for making our week unforgettable!

We had a lovely two week vacation at Arc du Soleil. All the people we interacted with through the process of booking, to arriving, to helping me coordinate experiences were kind, generous with their time, and helpful. We were stunned by the views and so appreciative of the opportunity to stay here while enjoying St. John and the surrounding US and British Virgin Islands. Both Brandons and Ashley were so kind. Our family met at this beautiful villa for an amazing week on St John. The home has everything you need from beach chairs to coolers to every possible kitchen appliance you may need. The pool is perfect and the beds are ultra comfy. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect stay in every way. communication with the Villa "team" was almost instant before and during our stay. had an issue with water pressure and someone was there and fixed it within 15 minutes after I texted the 'team'. 5 coolers, 6 beach chairs, pool and beach toys. overstocked kitchen. huge place. I think I counted over 30 places to sit and that didn't include the steps to the pool. stop looking and just book this.

We loved the pool, the comfy nooks everywhere, and the cool and dark bedrooms. The kitchen was great, and we played darts and games around the bar until the wee hours, and felt total privacy. Highly recommend!

This villa is stunning! The open-air main living area with the view of Great Cruz Bay and the private sunset viewing from the villa’s main floor overlooking the pool is something you’ll be talking about for years!
The villa is less than a 15-minute drive from Cruz Bay, and has easy access to the main roads to the north shore beaches, Coral Bay, or the East End. The villa is located in a gated community, which provides a sense of security with the open-air concept. No need to worry about birds, critters, or bugs in the open-air living spaces. They don’t come into the villa (at least in February)! We ate dinner at the dining room table, made meals, and enjoyed every minute we could look out over the bay without any interference from mother nature. Even when it rained at night, we didn’t have any issues.
The bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry area are behind solid doors. There are two bedrooms on the main level and one on the lower level with an outside entrance.Anybody who stays in the lower bedroom will have to walk down the driveway or around the outside of the house to get there.Not a big deal, but be aware of this if you have people who may have trouble walking up and down a slight incline.
The pool was well-kept and the outside bar was well stocked with alcohol. I recommend you check the available alcohol at the villa before you purchase anything to make drinks. You may be lucky and have free soda/pop, beer, mixer, or cider in the fridge. Remember to check the pantry or spices in the cabinets before you buy any staples.
The villa had six beach chairs, which was great for the three couples we had in our group. There is a limited amount of snorkel gear, but I recommend you rent from one of the local shops (we rented from Beach Bum).
If this is your first time staying in St John, the Starfish grocery store is on the way to the villa from Cruz Bay. It has a good variety of food for gluten-free or vegan eaters, and has a wide variety of alcohol. If you can’t find something at Starfish, you could try the Dolphin grocery store (on the same route to the villa).
The five-star management team quickly answered questions and was easy to get in touch with via text during our stay. Everybody we met on the team was professional making the stay even more enjoyable.

This is a beautiful and comfortable villa in a great location with postcard-like views. Even the great pictures online don’t really capture how pretty it is when you are in it. We spent time every day just sitting, relaxing, and taking in the views of the water, the boats, and the nearby islands.
We considered villas in both Chocolate Hole and Peter’s Bay off North Shore Road, and are so glad we chose Arc du Soleil. The mountaintop location can’t be beat. It’s 10 minutes outside of Cruz Bay, with local restaurants and the largest grocery store on St John along the drive. We rented their jeep, and while the road up from the ferry has steep spots that becomes part of the fun, and gives you the feel of actually living on the island. Once there, the house is perfect. The open-air layout is relaxing and never got too hot, especially with the fans. The villa comes stocked with everything you need, and the pool, outdoor bar, and kitchen were used daily. We took all three bedrooms (two on the main floor, and one on the lower level) and each was comfortable with a private bath and A/C. The house felt private, completely safe, and easy to get out to explore the island. If you are feeling adventurous you can drive the trail out to Lameshure Beach, if you want less adventure go to Cinnamon Beach or Maho Bay, go to the Windmill Bar, and don't miss boating/eating at Lime Out.
But what really made this the perfect week was the effort by our host, Brandon. He met us at the ferry with the Jeep, drove us to the house, and gave us all the info and instructions we needed on the villa and the island. He checked in with us several times through the week and was quick to respond when we had questions. And he went above and beyond to fix the minor issues that came up with the house during the week. When we left, we were met at the ferry again to turn in the jeep, which let us get our luggage right to the dock. Five stars for the house, five stars for the host team, and five stars for the island.

We had a great week in St John and our stay here was certainly a big contributor to that! Open air living (besides bedroom and bathroom) was great. Great views and very private! We were spoiled!

The villa was as advertised and perhaps even a bit nicer than expected. The views were amazing all day long. The pool was quite large and plenty warm, and the four of us used it every day. The villa was very well stocked with kitchen items, pool and beach items, games, towels etc. Loved the many interesting items of art on the walls. We felt safe in the gated community. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and overhead fans kept the open areas very comfortable. We experienced no issues with bugs and mosquitoes. We traveled all over the island in our rental jeep. Island roads take a bit of getting used to but aren't too difficult. We loved Trunk Bay beach and Hawksnest beach as well as others. We chartered a boat with a captain for a great day of snorkeling, sightseeing, and lunch at the Lime Out floating taco bar. One day we enjoyed lunch at Skinny Legs on the other side of the island and drinks at the Windmill Bar. One morning we hiked the Rams Head trail and the views at the end were exceptional. It was a fun hike of moderate difficulty but very hot, with little shade. We prepared several meals on our own in the villa's nice and well stocked kitchen and watched a couple movies at night on the big TV. Often, we all enjoyed sitting and gazing at the views from our deck talking, reading and relaxing into the evening. Everything was comfortable, clean, and our host (Ashley) was friendly and readily available (although other than meeting us at the grocery store and leading the way to the villa for a brief orientation, we didn't need her). There were a couple very minor issues of no consequence that we passed along as information. Transfers between St Thomas airport and Cruz Bay St. John was easy and smooth. Our villa was a great home base for a great vacation. We all highly recommend Arc Du Soleil / Estate San Souci, and we would absolutely rent this villa again.

This is our 3rd time vacationing in USVI and 2nd time renting this house. This property is even better than the pictures indicate. The view is amazing! The only unfortunate experience is that we had cloudy nights most of the week and only saw one sunset.

Wow! What can I say? That view was spectacular! The view was even better than in the pictures if you could imagine that! The pool was so perfect and refreshing! We loved being in a gated community and felt safe 100% of the time. The house was stocked with everything you could imagine. We had an amazing week. Getting picked up/dropped off at ferry, renting the Jeep through the owners and getting the house stocked with groceries was soooooo convenient. We couldn’t of had a better time! I started planning my next trip before I even left. I would highly recommend this house for your next trip to St. John.

We totally enjoyed the house, it was perfect for our group of 6. The pool was awesome, the view was magnificent. Unfortunately we took the wrong roads up to the house the 1st time, the switchbacks are killers...I would avoid at all cost.. there are 2 ways up...price you pay for that view!!!

Fantastic property with unbelievable views. Great location and very private. Dabney was our contact and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place for us. Great communication, very clean and comfortable. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend. Unplug and enjoy the unbelievable sunsets.

The property is in a nice gated neighborhood with a cute bar, pool and dart area. Well stocked! Open air living area was great with only downside mosquitoes at night.

Gorgeous property on a gorgeous island
The property is lovely and the view is as magnificent as shown in the photos. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. The property manager was wonderful -met us at the ferry and even dropped off some dishwasher soap! The location is good ( just be prepared for some scary roads getting to the house but that's not unique to this property) - close to a grocery store and to Cruz Bay and not too far to Coral Bay and the north shore beaches. Completely recommend this property.

Serenity at its Best!
This place was an absolutely amazing experience for our group! The sunset views were as advertised and the open layout was perfect for our group. We spent most of our island time enjoying the pool, bar and accommodations. We hired a local chef to come to the house for a couple nights - that made the stay even more enjoyable! We read reviews when we booked Arc De Soliel and followed the recommendations to be back at the house every day for the sunsets. We will definitely return to enjoy this paradise!

10 year anniversary vacation
This villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and air-conditioning. We loved spending time in the pool enjoying the gorgeous view! The hosts were so helpful - we appreciated the prompt responses to our questions and requests. We highly recommend a stay at the Arc!

We've stayed in St. John and Tortola several times and this house was by far the most well-appointed. There were beach towels, chairs, coolers, sunscreen, spices, coffee, bottled water and plenty of fun drink options! The bed was very comfortable and the pool was splendid. The grounds are meticulously maintained and a feast for the eyes. There is an abundance of local art throughout which makes every turn exciting. We loved meeting Dabney and Roo. The only thing I would change would be that my two children be allowed to come with us next time!
