Very good

The location and the size of the rooms were great, the pools and the resort itself were gorgeous. Facilities were great for a self-contained stay if that is one's preference.

The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable to sleep on - even my 8 year old found it uncomfortable. The room was dusty in places eg behind bedside tables (when finding phone charger) and on the slats of the sliding inter-room doors - a bit of an annoyance for those with allergies! The addition of safe would be useful too, but not a major issue.

the lack of cleaning services. we were there 5 nights in a rainy season but I have been told that cleaning services are above 6 nights.

fantastic, ideal, was a great choice to explore Port Douglas

the pool and the location of the resort was ideal

we had some guests who had children who were not supervising them in the pool adequately. We also had an issue with one of the other guests smoking on their balcony below us.

Tranquil beautiful setting!

Absolutely beautiful. Balinese style setting. I felt I had died and gone to heaven! The 2 pools were great especially the lap pool, definitely big enough for a good workout, most times I was the only one in pool. Quiet and great location. Room was a good size, comfortable mattress, small fridge and kitchenette. Plenty of covered outside sitting areas near the pools with barbecues provided if needed.

I would have liked some ice cube trays in the freezer or an ice machine on the premises. Also a water jug to put in the fridge to chill water.

Good location in Port Douglas and friendly staff, with comfortable and spacious rooms

An older style of resort, but lovely because of established gardens and the layout of the rooms. Two pools, one in the main area and one in a second back part of the establishment. This one was quieter and nicer for a swim. The room was large and a small balcony meant you could have breakfast outside which was excellent. Everything you needed for a good stay here. The location was excellent too.

The pool at the front was quite hard to get into. No ladder. And maybe a bit deep for children. The laundry was a bit tired but then, I didn't use it since I didn't have coins for the machines. Not many people use coins now. Otherwise, nothing to complain about!

The pools were too cool, the spa would have been better if the spa water temperature was higher.

Very relaxing and rejuvenating stay at Hibiscus

I really enjoyed the room we stayed in. We had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and kitchen which we used heaps. We loved our garden view which gave our balcony some privacy and felt very relaxed in the resort.

We would have liked a sitting area inside for when it was too cold to sit outside- we felt like it was risky eating over the beige sofas. It would have been nice if there was a bar or something near the lap pool as there seemed to be space for it.

The property was cleaned when we arrived and very well located - only a short walk to the restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed plus linen comfortable. nice little self contained apartment.

The laundry is $4 dollars each load, same for the dryer - that’s too expensive! No elevator and the pool was not heated

Left and moved locations after 2 nights (was suppose to be there for 6 nights).

The staff was friendly and location was good.

Very outdated and dirty. Nothing like the pics online. Bed very uncomfortable.

There’s nothing but good thing’s to say about our stay at Hibiscus!! The Balinese feel as soon as you walk in with stunning gardens pools and spa! The room was amazing with great views of the garden and pool!! but the best part of our stay would be the manager Jenny ever so helpful and friendly and happy! could possibly be the best overall place I’ve stayed at!! thank you Jenny for making our holiday so pleasant!!
