Staff and facilities
Showers difficult to use. Having to pay for parking even though we were booked for 5 nights. Spa was closed.

Staff were really welcoming. Parking was ok.
When I booked it stated breakfast was £9.00pppn. I didn't book breakfast as I thought we would book it at the hotel if it was required. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted breakfast and the cost was £12.50, if I waited until the day it would cost £15.00! I asked why the difference and was told that that was the price. Was also told that the manager would be in later and they would raise the query with him/her and get back to me. I have not heard from them since. The result was that we walked down the road to Three Tuns cafe and paid a fraction of the price and had exactly what we wanted.

The safety of using room cards to access the lift was great and the staff are all very friendly, room was spacious.
I will list in a few points that just missed the mark for us who don't have high standards but feel this hotel just isn't lfferinv enough for the cost.
Pool is under maintenance until end of the year which was something we had looked forward to using.
We staying Sunday and no evening restaurant available so we had to order a dominoes and eat it in our bed.
The beds weren't that comfy and very hard.
And finally if you are staying in a hotel with its own car park I don't feel an extra £10 per night was needed as a cost and if anything a bit greedy as the car park was easy to access (no working barrier) so your car wasn't even secured. As a hotel if you can't provide a restaurant on a Sunday then I feel there should be an alternative option available and parking should be included in the stay.
Also the food on breakfast wasn't great but did have a wide selection and staff were very nice.
