Set in pleasant grounds with easy parking, the hotel has an instant charm.

The hotel has been engulfed by a trading estate, which detracts from its lovely buildings. The room was very compact, adequate for a short stay, little space for clothes. Buffet breakfast was acceptable, but totally self sufficient, no staff present.

Location was excellent for us as we were visiting family who live a mile away from hotel. Breakfast was really good a great selection. Very clean and good staff very welcoming.

The bed was very comfortable and big, the location is great, if you travel between Limoges and Rennes and need to spend the night, and the breakfast was very good, too.

The shower in the room was in a very bad condition. The shower head didn't stay up, so you had to hold it, and the shower cabin was mouldy. The floor in front of it got wet. The room itself was very small and hot, especially for the amount of money that we paid. The carpet in the corridors was very dated, it felt a bit like a youth hostel. Very bad quality for the money that we paid. They are currently upgrading it, though, building works were going on, they were not loud. But it didn't say that anywhere when we booked. There is a pool and a spa, for which I guess you pay the extra money, but we didn't have time to use them. We ate at the Brasserie restaurant, but the food was only average. Altogether not such a great experience. We wouldn't stay there again.
