Was great, but I would recommend getting a rental for grocery shopping and day trips

Well mantained. Cleaned daily and all appliances worked well. Comfortable beds and great view from both terraces.

Just missing some amenities near by.

Fabulous - we will be returning!

Lovely peaceful location and provided everything we were hoping from this holiday. The villas and grounds are very well kept and everywhere is cleaned daily. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and you could borrow tennis rackets and table tennis equipment from reception to use if you wanted to. The sea views are fab and with your own terraces, balconies with seating, sunbeds and BBQs you can either stay by the villa or take the very short walk to the swimming pool where we never had to fight for a sunbed and a lot of the time we had the pool area to ourselves or there were very few people there which was brilliant. Even as guest came back from a day out late afternoon the pool area was never crowded and all other guest respected that people were there for a peacefully time. You were able to sit out round the pool during the late afternoon/evening, which is often the best time and it was just all very chilled and relaxed. We had a BBQ a few times during our stay and when coming back out of the villa the following day all the BBQ charcoal had been cleared away which wasn't something we expected. We hired a car from the airport and would definately recommend having transport as made getting out and about to see more of The Algarve easy and we found the location to be good for this as you were 15 minutes drive from Albufeira and there were lots of other great places to visit within 30 minutes drive. The local supermarket was only a few minutes drive away and provided everything we needed food & drink wise and the local town of Gale which was a 5 minute drive away had shops/bars/restaurants and other facilities. This was our first visit to The Algarve and this part of the world is beautiful and we definately plan to return to both The Algarve and Moraidas Villas Rufino.

The only negative we had was the size of the double bed. It is a very small double bed and would be much better if it was a king size or even super king size bed. We did mention this to the Manager and she said they will hopefully be changed to bigger beds over the winter for next season. This is the only reason we've not given the property a score of 10.

Disapointing and frustration

Issues No power one evening No Hot water cold showers No Internet always something We pay upfront and we have no options when the listing shows one thing and then we receive below expectations The staff really tried hard to accommodate us but the owners are no where in sight customer satisfaction is non existent attitude seems to be take the money and run

Amazing views

The accommodation was great, incredible view of the pool and sea. The villa was bigger than my house! We were lucky to have been upgraded. Only a short 5 minute walk to a lovely secluded beach and another 15 minute walk to Gale beach, miles of golden sands. The location is good for shops and local restaurants and a short 10 minute drive to Albufeira marina amd town. We really enjoyed our stay and Inês is wonderful.

Relaxing sunny break in a lovely property, with several beautiful beaches close by.

The whole complex was exceptionally well maintained, with a great view from our patio/terrace. Also, the villa was larger than we remembered from before.

Superb

Fantastic location and very clean villa. The only thing I would say is that if you want to cook, the equipment is too basic! However we managed and ate out a lot of the time.

Everything about Rufino is beautiful. The poolside area and garden overlooking the sea are gorgeous and it’s 3 minutes walk to stunning beaches. Spotlessly clean, and friendly helpful staff. We will be back.

Fantastic place

Villas are spacious and comfy, facing the ocean and surrounded by plants. The terrace is a great place to chill. The ocean view is splendid. The place, at least in October, is very peaceful. We felt extremely relaxed. There is a nice rocky beach nearby.

I can't think of anything, maybe I'd point out a balltap in the toilet on the ground floor which didn't work properly.

The location and the common facilities are great! The garden and the swimming pool is great and the the sea view stunning!

Splendid location, amazing view. Better than in pictures, clean, well kept. The villas guarantee privacy. Pool perfectly clean, garden neat. Very close to a nice beach having a bar and restaurant with excelent food and service.

Maybe for longer stays a washing machine x clothing might serve.

I don't know where to start! The view was stunning, the villa was extremely comfortable it felt like home, the location is amazing very close to the beach, supermarket and an amazing restaurant. The staff are extremely kind, helpful. Regular cleaning so you just relax. Bbq on the terrace. We enjoyed the pool in the night time when no one was around and it was a special experience. I wish we could live there forever!! 💙😆 We'll be back and thank you for everything, obrigada 🙏

Wonderful

Very spacious villa, pool was clean and beautiful and beach was a very short walk down path. Snack shop and restaurant was fantastic, bathrooms were always clean Great grocery store not far, within walking distance.

Maybe better understanding of the use of washing machine. I was under impression that there was one in our unit. After inquiring I was told that there was a community machine, that needed tokens. Also more soap and toilet paper to start off

The filter coffee machine. No cafe or bar on site. The kitchen is a little outdated.

Location was excellent and care takers were wonderful people all ways there to help you out of the way. Very clean and all the utensils were there.

Air con and heaters are difficult to operate. Need good instructions. Also do remote control specific instructions.
