The location is adjacent to my favorite game reserve, the flora and garden layout are stunning with huge fever trees and other indigenous trees and shrubs.
The suite that we stayed in was comfortable and luxurious with an enormous bathroom and shower as well as an outside shower. The bedroom has extraordinary views of the garden.
The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable.
100% my favourite accommodation in the Mkuze region.
I could and should have booked for a longer stay. The roads leading up to the Ghost mountain inn are atrocious.

A beautiful hotel on sprawling grounds with gardens that are long established and maintained. There is also a lovely pier to the dam. Our rooms were excellent, the spa was beautiful and the meals were top notch. Game drives and Jozini dam tours are all easily accessible. You can choose multiple parks to do game drives in.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again without a doubt.
Hopefully this area and Mkhuze undergoes some investment to bring back the tourists. It's a beautiful area.

With a lot of the safari focused hotels you are locked into eating at least two of meals per day on location, breakfast and mains were fine, also for vegetarian eaters. Our game drive was rained out and the hostess organised an excursion for my partner and another couple. The effort was appreciated.
The location is ok but in the area you are better off staying at a private game drive as you are closer to the wilderness. We also had a massage at the spa, the massage was ok but the masseuses' went through a routine and didn't actually listen to our focus areas at all.
