There was a door right from the reception to the convenience store which made our stay 10 times better!

First of all, the hotel is a short block away from the station, and is surrounded by great little restaurants and there is even a door in the lobby to the conbini on the other side of the ground floor (a room key is needed to enter the lobby from the conbini, otherwise you'll have to walk around the outside of the building). The station itself is well situated, giving direct access to either Narita or Haneda airport, which is huge. I think we sprung for the modern Japanese room, which was a very nice space and I enjoyed the kiriko details and bed light, and the shoji-style blackout curtain.
If I had to nitpick, the mattress was a bit stiff, but the pillow was excellent and I still had one of the best sleeps of my trip thus far.

How close it was to the metro and that spme konbinis were close. Check in and check out was easy

The location is excellent, very close to the station and in the middle of Asakusabashi. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The laundry services were good with effective dryers, and you only need to pay for detergent.
The room was dirty and very small. The carpet and walls badly needed updating. The cleaner repeatedly left the blanket behind the TV for some reason, and there was a very loud creaky door somewhere which kept waking us up.
