Excellent hostel. Very friendly . Great vibe. Very clean. Met some fantastic people. A guy from the the Hague Netherlands who was chatting to everyone and got everyone talking to each other. I thought he worked there but he was on holiday and comes back repeat as he loves it so much. He was such a great guy ...The actual real staff were great too ! :-)
I Would definitely stay again. Great for any age. Mostly young but I'm 59 and didn't feel out of place. I felt very welcome.

A few minutes walk from Central Station and with tram connection to the airport, City Hostel in Bergen is a good choice for visiting the old center of Bergen. Room was small and simple but it assured the basic comfort for our short stay. Check in worked well and we received in advance door access code to enter the facility. On check out we stored our luggage until our departure and went to visit the city. Personell was very helpful.
Room was rather small but still ok for us four. Reception is not open 24/7 and this could be a limitation when leaving luggage in the storage room (we were not affected by this).
