Everything, especially the location.
It would have been nice to eat an evening meal in the restaurant, but that is being really picky. The hotel was just few minutes walk from the old town centre. However, there were not many good restaurants near the hotel.

The location was excellent.
It was in need of some TLC.
We got the last lodge available which unfortunately was overlooking a car park with the maintenance yard/workshop next door. There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture on the balcony. The pool was closed when we arrived early evening. We were told it was because it was windy even though we were in the midst of a heatwave.
