いきたかった観光地に近かかった
大雨で、駐車場の入り口がよく見えなかったため、一旦前を通り過ぎて１周回って入らなければならなかった。

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were nice and helpful! There are two hotel Asyl in Nara. This one is “Annex”. I arrived at Christmas night to the wrong location and the staff were really a big help to reach to the “Annex” hotel.
Not really a negative point, but be careful that there are two hotel Asyl in Nara, which are related. This one is “Annex”. If you are using public transport, this hotel is accessible by bus from JR Nara station. It’s NOT accessible from Kintetsu-Nara station.

I loved that they had a sento - a big hot bath that every customer can use (no clear tattoo policy... staff said as long as other customers don't complain, it's fine to get in with tattoos). Room was confortable too and staff very nice.
Lack of breakfast and dinner options, a bit far to reach (there's a bus nearby though). Even without dinner options with them, there are quite a few restaurants nearby, we went to kura sushi so it's not too bad.

Rooms were larger then what I expected. The Japanese bath was good. The wired internet access worked good. The free parking was great, plenty of parking slots.
As my wife said the room seemed "old and tired". The TV was smaller then my computer monitor at home. No WIFI for my tablet. Was not able to get breakfast due to not being told when we checked in we had to reserve a time. Not sure if you had to pay for it when you booked your room, did not seem to offer cash customers the ability to use it.
