A large hotel located around a 10-minute walk, one station before the main Nara station, featuring slightly dated but still impressive and luxurious interiors, including a striking waterfall beside the dining area, golden railings, and plush carpeting. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing clear explanations of the facilities at check-in. Rooms were generously sized, with comfortable beds and pleasant views over a small shared garden. The hotel also had a very large and convenient coin laundry area, which was particularly useful during the trip. Nearby, there were local bars and restaurants, as well as the Heijō Palace Site Historical Park, which was also good for an early morning run.
The only negative was that a microwave area was located very near our room. In the very early morning we could hear many guests using and slamming the microwave which woke us up.

Maybe the brekfast
The hotel was maybe « royal » 40 years ago because now it was in decay. Armchairs with the sponge filling coming out, stained chairs and carpet, old fittings in the bathroom and, in general, everything looked like the hotel was abandoned. The handle of my door with its security lick- broke on the first hour of my stay- it simply fell on the floor. The spa facilities, even though clean, looked very said and again, nothing seemed renewed since the ´70. THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL! I would not choose this place as accommodation. The photos are artistically done but they are misleading. This is the first time when I saw a dirty hotel in Japan.
