Location, location, location. Nice IGA out front. Good meals and vibe. Nice boardwalk to beach. Cabins with private bathrooms reasonable. Clean linen.

Maintenance of rooms and camp kitchen could do with some love. Upgrade of chairs n tables on balconies and wobbly steps etc

Best location in Cape Trib as The Jungle Bar can always be relied on for a cold beer and a meal and if it was summer (too cool now) - a pool to swim in with no crocs!

Very basic accommodation

Location is perfect with easy access to the beach. There’s great coffee across the road and a small store next door.

The camp kitchen needs an upgrade

The King size room was clean, bed was comfortable, reasonably priced, outdoor patio with chairs, fridge was cold, shower was hot.

The sliding door to enter room easily came off it's tracks and was difficult to open at times; the only way we could lock the door from inside when sleeping was via a padlock which I'm pretty sure is illegal under Australian Fire Code for rental rooms. The man in the room next to us was initially given the key to our room by mistake, so we were a bit concerned about our safety. It appears a lot of locals come to the bar and kareoke until late, so it can get a bit noisy, fortunately our room was located a fair distance, so we slept ok. This is budget accommodation, so don't expect too much, there are a lot of young 4wd overnighters that stay for a night or 2 in tents, but they were no problem. I understand there is a new manager who is updating facilities that apparently were run down by previous management.
