Unique place for a comfortable and relaxing seaside time in the nature

Looking through images at booking time we were a bit sceptic but finally good price at high season and recommendations from some books convinced us to book Del Potrero. And it was absolutely right choice! This nice cabanas located in a very quiet forest area right next to the amazing sandy beach (maybe 5min walking). All bungalows have huge terraces equipped with grill (which we used both evenings). Living rooms is very spacious with big windows, lovely bar table & chairs, sofa and TV/radio. You will have all required utensil and kitchenware and if something missing just ask lovely owner Ana and you will get it. Nearby beach is wide and pleasantly not crowded. Overall this is really unique place for a comfortable and relaxing time in the nature. The owner Ana with her sister are true experienced professionals of their business, both speak fluent English and will with great pleasure and passion explain you about the area around, share some hints and guide you if you want to. Just 5 minutes of happy chat with them and we felt like at home with just one little advantage - Uruguayan seaside home :)

The only small personal discomfort was due to surveillance cameras which were pointed right at the bungalow's entry/terrace. Of course, it's all done for the security reason, but still...I believe "the eyes" can be slightly pointed a bit aside rather than sharing with you your meals and leisure time :)

Vacaciones de descanso.

Las cabañas están muy bien cuidadas, zona muy tranquila.

Se podría mejorar la zona de los parrilleros pero aún así están en buenas condiciones.
